I think that you are right. If she finishes where Ella did last year it will be great for her, but of course it would be nice if she went further. I think that she will have a very good chance of a record contract where ever she finishes.

There's probably still a large number of people who'll wait until everyone's performed to vote, as well as a number of people who'll probably only tune in after a few acts have performed. So I'd still say it's a fairly big factor, even if opening lines at the start mitigates it somewhat.

Money is going on Fleur, as she is now into 7/1 with Paddy Power. The top four have pulled away in the betting as Paul is next at 14/1 fifth favourite.
