She has looking like an 80s Whitney/Rihanna hybrid going for her, and her voice is definitely good. She needs to watch her technique , though, because her low range was sounding rough and pitchy. I am not sure if I see her as a lead vocalist. She'd be great as a member of a girl group. I'm not about to write her off just yet as a solo artist, though, because she obviously works hard, and , again, good voice and vocal dexterity .

Allowing past live shows contestants back on the show is ridiculous
What next? One of JLS auditions as a solo artist next year? |

What next? One of JLS auditions as a solo artist next year? Where do you draw the line now? Austin Drage wants another shot so comes back? Nicki from 2007? Fluer had her shot, I don't think she should be allowed another one over others. |

Agreed. This is an absolute joke. If they make it to judges houses then fine, by all means come back and try again but if you get onto the live shows then you've had your chance. And if I'm not mistaken, this used to be the rules as well. You could not reaudition if you had gone all the way to the live shows.

I don't think you're getting the point to be honest, the artists you mentioned couldn't reaudition as soloists who made live can only reaudition as part of a group and groups who made loves can only audition individually as soloists.
It didn't work out. You had your chance. Bye bye. |

She is a person who went to the live shows, beat out thousands of others and was within grasp of a recording contract. Fleur got nowhere near

I agree in some cases, but Fleur auditioned nine years ago, in a group, and went out in week one. I don't think there's really any advantage for her there. I don't really mind if someone like her were to reaudition, because lets be honest, very few people will remember her group from the X Factor, let alone Fleur herself. If the short one from JLS decided to audtion, then it'd be a very different story.
Having someone like Aston Merrygold come back WOULD be unfair, since he has a pre-existing fanbase and has already experienced the maximum amount of rounds you can in a series. |

Second place runner up is within grasp of a recording contract - and just miss it.
Fleur got nowhere near ![]() Take it on the chin, accept you didn't win and step aside. I'd rather see someone who has never got on those live shows make it than someone who did and frankly didn't cut it when they were given the platform. |

Agreed. She is on a level playing field with the rest of the contestants this year and it's not like she has a massive fanbase pre-show either, since she went out in Week 1 almost ten years ago after receiving the fewest votes in a group where she only made up a 1/4 of it. Plus she is an Over now, meaning she has matured a lot since her 16-year old self.
Having someone like Aston Merrygold come back WOULD be unfair, since he has a pre-existing fanbase and has already experienced the maximum amount of rounds you can in a series. Plenty of former talent show contestants have auditioned for XF and got another shot, Darius being the most high profile. Look at Daniel Pearce who was in One True Voice. Auditioned as a solo artist in XF and got to judges houses and has now had a couple of number ones with Dizzee Rascal and Sigma. Taking it to the letter of the law, it could be argued that Steph has already had her chance as well. I would agree that the exact same act shouldn't be able to come back but a solo artist who is now part of a group or someone from a group now being solo. especially those that are barely remembered isn't an issue imo |

I do like Fleur, but I can't help but feel she'll be first out again if she makes the lives. She seems likeable enough, but she has no hype and I can't see the public voting for her, especially over the 'safer' female acts like Lola/Lauren etc.

Paddy Power has her at 16/1 to win outright so she is ahead of quite a few of the others.

Don't rate her, don't think she'll do well in the live shows that's if she gets through
