A number of posts have been removed yet again from this thread. If you are simply coming in to the thread to be negative and to bait fans of hers then maybe don't post? Not liking an artist is completely fine but deliberately making posts over and over again that disrupt genuine discussion about Fleur East is unconstructive and is starting to seem like baiting.

A thread shouldn't have to be an "appreciation" thread to warrant positive and meaningful discussion. If you're not really in to her music that's fine, but repeatedly coming in to the thread and echoing this over and over again is getting really tiring, especially when it appears to be in relation to members who frequent this thread.

If you don't care for Fleur East or her music, posting about it over and over again is disruptive so try to avoid entering the thread to repeat it. If you have issues with a specific member you can use the ignore feature. If a user is repeatedly entering the thread to be condescending or to bait other users, please use the alert function. Hopefully this thread can be more about artist discussion rather than each other from this point forward.

My point was she hasn't got much going for her other than the performance angle, which I've stated consistently throughout this thread. If someone wants to suggest my means of expressing that is racist then I'm perfectly willing to have a proper discussion about it and examine my means of expression if, and only if, valid and legitimate points are brought to the discussion.

Making a cheap inference or innuendo that someone's racist ('and we all know it...') to devalue someones opinion, taint their forum reputation (for whatever that is worth) and running away without explaining yourself isn't a valid or legitimate point, it's just playground mud-slinging.


I fully agree. There's an underused appreciation thread for all you sensitive souls who can't bear to hear a word said against Fleur.

She's performing Sax on the Late Late Show, since it hasn't been promoted much in the US compared to hear - if there's any song she can break the US with, it's definitely Sax!

I've stopped posting on this thread because every time I come on it's the same posters here who very clearly don't like Fleur and are constantly bashing her and being negative. From my point of view they seem to always try and bait certain Fleur fans.

It will be nice to get this thread back on track and discuss her movement, new music, upcoming appearances, airplays etc. The Little Mix and Fifth Harmony threads aren't appreciation threads but you don't see posters who aren't fans of the group posting every day trying to get reactions and cause disruption with people who genuinely are fans of the artists or just simply want to keep up to date with what they are doing.
