What is it with silly rushed exits these days?!
Does every departing character have to leave on a whim now?
Even a week's notice would be somewhat credible. It seems utterly ridiculous and even disrespectful to the actor to suddenly push them off the show mid-episode.

I haven't felt this way since Princess Diana died

And pack all their worldly possessions into one small bag!

I've not seen Corrie for a few weeks, I think my interest has waned. Saying that I'm sorry to hear Jenna has gone, she could have been a good character with the right writing. Her and Sophie were wrong for one another (Sophie is wrong for anyone). If Sophie hadn't existed Jenna could have been a good lesbian character but the over obsession with Sophie, means they forgot Jenna was gay and she was just tucked behind the café counter till her contract was over.

I wonder if she was always intended to be lesbian? It felt like they just turned her lesbian for the demands of Sophie's storyline. A wasted opportunity of a character.

I don't think much thought was put into Lloyd's ex girlfriend and Jenna. They just wanted a ready made family for him.

Mandy was awful, nice person who played her though.

I had to rack my brains who Jenna actually was!

There was a scene recently just before she left where she actually smiled - it made me realise how little of that she'd actually done during her time on the street, instead of looking so serious and / or angry all of the time. The way she was written it was quite hard to take to her I think....but I did like some of her scenes with Lloyd, I think their relationship was interesting and the character could've been a lot more likeable of they hadn't focused on her being Sophie's 'love' interest and then the stroppy daughter, angry at Andrea all the time.

Yep after taking some LIFE ADVICE from the biggest loser in the Street who works in a corner shop part time and still lives with Mumsie, Jenna just disappeared like her mother Mandy. Shame as this character was never developed but hey never mind they have kept on the Grinning Idiot.
