I hope his predictive text didn't cause a panic at the station:

'I am shooting my brains out'

Guess who gets the Drama Queen of the Month Award?
The Fabulous Charity ?

As far as I know Donna did not hand in a resignation letter or make the Force aware of her condition. Therefore unless the post mortem shows evidence of immanent death they will have to treat Donna as a young mother with her whole life to live and pay out accordingly.
A post mortem and basic enquires would reveal that this bent cop was dying

In real life SULLA but not in soapy life where Donna will be lauded as a hero

Do Hotten's finest even know what a post mortem is?

After the death leap from the roof, it wasn't shown on the subtitles but it was certainly what he said.

Only when it suits them.

However, it appears that the whole village now knows she was dying

Anyone know if Donna and Ross managed to get the phone off that gangster in the end?

Donna leaping from the multi story taking Leo Sayer with her was one of the best bits for ages in an increasing boring Emmerdale. Lots of crying now - Ross, Moron and the Biggest Sobber in the World Aaron is back!

I'm hoping that Ross sees April playing with the toy he gave her for her birthday and realises that if Donna was just using him she wouldn't have given her daughter his gift.

Hang on Laura, didn't you forget something?

*DE-LURKS*

But yes, that would be a really nice touch if Ross saw April taking comfort from the cuddly rabbit he bought her.

Hi O&J I only "lurk" when the programme is on. When the episode is over it's "gloves off"

I'm really hoping that he realises that she really did love him. Going by the spoilers he's got a lot of grieving to go but, hopefully when he adjusts to her going he'll know what he felt wasn't wrong.

Christmas would be good! We could have a Tiny Tim type moment in ED and when he sees April with his present. There wouldn't be a dry eye in this house!
