If the Carters were leaving, which ONE would you save?

I'd save Mick. Can't stand any of the others, especially his missus. Her voice is like nails down a blackboard. It's taken long enough for me to warm to Mick as it is 
To be honest, if the Carters were all leaving then I don't think I'd just want to see one of them left behind. The reason they work so well is because they're such a dynamic family unit. I would actually feel incredibly sad to just see one of them saved.

This, although I would accept Johnny showing up every so often, because he goes to university nearby.
Shirley. The original and the best imo. But I really do like Nancy and Lee as well.

Disagree about who you'd save, but I agree about the kids! The were brilliant when they first joined, they're painful to watch now, they're just there, no character development or anything, such a yawn...
