It really annoys me, when I order a pizza or buy one from the take away, so many come with pepperoni on them, like they think everyone in the world loves pepperoni, me I can't stand the stuff. I know there are alternatives to pick from, but not much great choice out there. Do you dislike pepperoni as well?

I only ever make my own so get what I want on them, I know my husband doesn't like it he says it's greasy and nasty. Never tried it myself.

Your husbands right it is, I find it's got like a tinny / rusty taste, and I can't stand the texture either.

Pineapple would be my annoyance on pizza. We don't put anything else sweet on pizza, so why ruin a perfectly nice ham & mushroom pizza with icky pineapple?
Pepperoni's all right - but it can be a very cheap topping so its often best avoided imho.

I think it is a good asset to pizza, but only on its own, if it was a meat feast, I always think its too much all that meat.

I've had pizza with dates on and several with sweet peppers on them.

I will take all your pepperoni (yummy!) as long as you take all my pineapple (yuk!) and olives (double yuk!!).

I agree....Is it so hard to understand? Either don't order pizza with pepperoni on it or ask them to leave it off.

By the way, I do like a nice thin crust Hawaiian pizza

I love peperoni. It would be one of the main reasons for not turning vegetarian.]

Anyone is welcome to my anchovies.

You can add or remove ingredients as you please, why all the fuss?

I can eat it but I've never seen much of a point to it. Just tastes salty to me.

Sadly I have never ordered a pizza since, I was sick watching it.

depends, most pizzas you order in the uk are made by muslims. They use cheap cheese (rarely mozzarella) and nasty low grade non-italian 'pepperoni' with lots of bones chippings.

Those pizzas are poison

And you can take my anchovies too. (triple yuk!!!)

Ask them to leave it off
That's the easiest way.

You don't have to order a pizza with pepperoni. There are so many pizza toppings without pepperoni. Actually, i'm not sure, but I think that americans invented pepperoni topping, and it's not an original Italian topping. Some pizzas you can eat that have no pepperoni, of the top of my head:

- Margharita - Cheese and tomato.
- Quatro Stagioni - Ham, mushrooms, artichokes and tomato.
- Fungi - Mushrooms and cream (some use mozzarella).
- Quatro Formaggi - Four Cheese.
- Frutti di mare - Seafood topping.

I'm sure that when ordering a pizza, you can tell them what do you want on it, and if you want them to omit something you wouldn't like on your pizza, in your case pepperoni.

I'd love to know what statistical basis you've got for 'most are made by Muslims'.

How many pizza takeaways did it feature? It's a bit bizarre not ordering pizza because there are a few dodgy ones.

^^ Politically correct Guardian poster alert.

Reality is over guys. No generalising. No opinions unless every pizza made in the UK is analysed and evaluated on an individual basis...

Was fun while it lasted.

I imagine quite a few order pizza by name and not list every ingredient they want on it.

That's what you get for ordering the "Peperoni Surprise".

The surprise is that it has peperoni on it.

We'll normally you would be looking at a menu? And if you ordered something once and it came with something you didn't like, surely next time you would ask for it left off??

But who orders a pizza where the toppings aren't listed?
