It's odd, I get by just fine on a 1.25GB plan which I am always amazed about.

I think about it though and I barely ever do anything data-intensive when I'm not on WiFi.
We don't have wifi at work (for non company laptops) and I distrust public wifi, so went for more usage. I'm probably wrong age group (eg not 22) so don't need video sites on the go. YouTube and Vimeo etc. I stream radio through radio player but that is good quality and better than fm but still tiny amounts of usage. I suspect it's the pictures on Facebook that use the most data.

I suppose it depends on the network you are on and the quality of the data connection.

I know many people on o2 and Vodafone who don't live in the main cities who struggle to use more than a few hundred MB in a month, all down to being on 2G or very bad 3G most of the time.

Quite possibly.

I'm trying to think back to when I had Three and how much data I used with them. Not a huge amount.

Never used EE as my main network for long enough to get an idea but probably higher with 4G in a lot of places now.
