EE: Lucy Timeline
MoJo-Girl
14-08-2014
Hi all

I have been trying to work out the timeline on the night Lucy died and I just need to clear up a few things..

--

We know that she had a row with Ian (about Peter etc) and stormed off. We then saw a bit of CCTV (on BBC online) when she got a call on her mobile and headed off (we think the call was from Jake, correct?)

Then, she met up with Jake at the flats who thought he was meeting Lauren. He was very drunk so Lucy called/found a taxi which took them both back to the square and Lucy helped Jake into his flat. This is when her earring is supposed to have fallen out and/or her blood ended up there.

Is that right so far?

So, my questions are:

1. Where does the CCTV of the bus fit in? Did she get the bus to Jake? Did she get the bus after dropping Jake home?

2. When did she argue with Max? We've seen the CCTV from the car lot, even though the police haven't.

3. When did she (allegedly) argue with Billy?

4. Are we not supposed to know where it all fits in and be left in the complete darkness about everything?!

Any help clearing this up would greatly assist with my investigations...

A few of us were discussing this in a topic the other week. I think we worked out that (in answer to your questions):

1. We originally thought that she got the bus AFTER dropping Jake home, but now it's been confirmed on the show that she got the bus at the start of the evening, before she met Jake at the flats.

2. She argued with Max after her argument with Ian, and before she got the bus to the flats to meet Jake.

3. The Billy thing is still a little unclear but it's generally understood that she must have argued with him after dropping Jake back to the square, which was why his statement was enough to get Jake released.

4. I think we've been purposefully given enough information to piece some of the night together, but there are some blank spots. This is the basic timeline to the best of my knowledge:

1. Argued with Ian at the Beale house.
2. Argued with Max outside the car lot.
3. Received the email from Jake asking her (although it was intended for Lauren) to meet at the Walford Common flats.
3. Got on the bus to Walford Common, got off at the same time as (what seems to be) Jay.
4. What happened next is currently unclear but at some point she must have got to the flats where she met Jake.
5. Got into the taxi with Jake and brought him back home. It's unclear (I think) whether she went into his flat with him or not.
6. Argued with Billy, seen by Lee

After this we don't know what happened and what her next movements were.

Ahhh, so at the moment, Billy (and Lee) are the last ones to have seen her alive.

Interesting...

Thank you!

Yes, it seems that way. I'm actually surprised that Billy has got off as lightly as he has so far considering that the police must know this. And if the truth comes out that Lee saw them arguing, he's very much going to be in the frame as well for why he kept quiet.

I don't think they would have released him so quickly either. He has a criminal record, he is close to Phil (who is very, very well known to the police) and he's up to all sorts of dodgy stuff - including squatting in that horrible dingy flat!

They would have, surely, asked the residents if any of them had seen Lucy and Billy together to confirm his story. Surely?

If they can keep Jake locked up for how ever many months with not a lot of evidence, then they would do the same with Billy!
