I really hope Dean doesn't go as far as raping Linda. I am getting sick off Mick's constant eye rolling at her though, he treats her terribly I think - always subtle though, little looks and putdowns with a big kiss at the end.

Sharon hasn't stolen any money so I don't think he noticed it yet lol. But Phil isn't that stupid so I don't think he will figure it out until Sharon destroys him.
She's in the process of stealing from him and Marcus showed her some revised figures. Why wouldn't his accountant notice.

I don't know why they brought Sharon back broke only to have her steal from Phil. Granted it's Den's style but Sharon has never been a criminal as far as I remember.

A new secret or is it the Ian slept with a prostitute secret?
I have known about it for ages

I don't know Ian didn't call rainie's bluff in the first place
Not in the script

I'm trying to imagine Ian standing behind Raine with his trousers down shouting fish cake.
Why fish cake ?

Abi looks pretty good.
I have always liked Abigail

One day she will be a vet
and move to Yorkshire

As if everyone in the area would boycott the pub like that anyway.
Especially as it's the only pub in Wa;lford

Errr Phil you don't own the pub anymore.
Phil doesn't even own the pub anymore
When does Phil get to evict people from the Vic that he doesnt own?
Phil, it's not your pub!!!!!!! You can't tell people to get out of the Vic anymore!
Has Phil forgotten he doesn't own the Vic anymore?
Philth owns all of Walford. He can do what he likes.
Why would Sharon have Marcus listed on her phone like that
He works for her

Why do Sharon and Marcus meet where Phli can easily see them?
Scenes have to be on the set.

Seriously we are meant to believe the pub would clear like that?
On EE I could easily believe it.

Jay was on the bus I think
I love Cora but her strutting down the market as if everything was normal I had a problem with
Dean and Linda, not on
I wonder what Phil is going to do and him and Mick at loggerheads or the start of it

Mick's seriously annoying now. Just tell Ian it's over! You won't cover for him any more. Would Mick risk his relationship with Linda over that weasel? What's Mick hiding? No man would do what he's doing at such a high price unless there's more to it. Oh, I'm annoyed at him now...and admitting to Stan that it was true was the stupidest thing he could have done. Wish I could bugger off EE to keep my blood pressure within norms but it's an addiction, I'm afraid. Phew!

The episodes writers name rung a bell I'm assuming it's the same guy that played mirandas boyfriend in series 3 of Miranda

Just been watching again. I don't think Dean's sniffing was an accident. I doubt something like that would make the final cut unless it was for a reason.
Deans arrogant behaviour & overbearing attitude towards Linda is evocative of someone with a coke habit.

I will catch up with the omnibus this week - but am I to understand that Mick is not scared of the psycho spud?

If so I just want to congratulate the bloke for seeing that short fat b*****d for what he really is.

A nasty, cheap little thug and not Walford's Don Corleone.

Sharon has Marcus as a contact in her phone, is she stupid? Meeting on the square, is she stupid?

And Phil having a go at people for "watching a man grieving". Uhhh, that's the whole point of the appeal so that the public can view it and provide any information they can.

His reaction was completely unneeded and unnecessary.

I found Stan's line: "Lies break families Mick, mine did." quite interesting. I wonder if it was a throwaway line or a little clue about the Carter history.

I noticed the sniff and said the same going to my hubby! Very much like someone who might be on coke!

Think it was just a reference to Shirley and Mick being her son - it broke her back then, which in turn ended up breaking hers / their family apart [and her and Dean are still apart].

But he doesn't know that Mick is Shirley's son, his wife passed him off as theirs. I got the feeling there was something else, maybe something to do with why his wife left.

I thought it might have been to do with why Sylvie left or perhaps he knew she was abusive and did nothing to stop it(or both)he also said to Tina about having experience with abuse/covering up abuse earlier in the year and that he wasn't proud of it and another line to Shirley where he said 'when I think of the time...I was a drunk and I know that doesn't excuse it...'? I can't help feeling all those vague lines are connected and are referring to the past from Stan are connected to the violence in their past and part of the reason why Sylvie left. Probably just me. Haha.

In character but it always makes sense within the story too. Whereas this time it felt more like the writer's thought "We'll have Phil kick off in the pub" but forgot to write in an actual reason.
