Phil and Sharons aftermath
With it looking like Sharon is going to take everything Phil has what will happen after shes done that.
Surley Phil will try and get some sort of revenge. Storyline wise they have to be careful as he cant just sit down all day doing nothing. As for Sharon she has all his money where does she go then. Would have been so much better if they done this a different way shoot him or something. |

Phil will probably just walk into the Vic and take the money out of the tills, he pretty much owns the place these days.

This confuses me too, I can hardly see that Phil would just walk away from his home, businesses and money willingly...what will Sharon do, live in his house, run his businesses and Phil and Ben will just camp out in the square and let her get on with it? Also with her jilting him, why does she even let it get that close to the wedding if she doesn't want to marry him? I'm very confused how this aftermath will play out. I know Phil has done bad things to Sharon but I don't think that makes her entitled to everything he owns haha!

I can't wait for Shaz's revenge, especially after she finds out Phil's been shagging Shirley. |

Because, if she takes it to the wedding, then it just makes the revenge all the more sweeter. Also, she needs the time!!

Fair point, I imagine she will find out about the affair and it will spur her on even more! But I still don't see what she will do after she has jilted him? Phil doesn't strike me as someone who will just allow her to just get away with taking all his assets? hah.

Sharon will be rich and Phil and Ben will be penniless. I take it they and Jay will be homeless and jobless (unless she leaves him with the garage).
Phil will roll over because he feels guilty. ....in all honesty I can't see how this will play out. For a start where will Ian stand in all this...Phil has been a rock to him since Lucy's death. And then there's Lola who for some reason adores granddad Phil. I can see Sharon losing some friends, I'm not even sure that Dot would take her side if she goes too far....stealing isn't very Christian. |

I think it's going to be interesting to see Sharon as a powerful businesswoman who will be really independent after her split with Phil. She may not be successful with her revenge plot but I hope she wins
![]() I don't think Shirley would get ruined but it's about goddamn time for Phil to be taken down. Sharon and Shirley are the only women who can truly break his heart. But Phil would be more devastated that Sharon, the woman he loves for over 20 years has stabbed him in the back. |

I think it's likely Sharon will come away with The Albert and a bit of money to set her up and that's about it, there no way Phil gonna be dead broke and lose everything financially unless Sharon had something priceless to blackmail him with, if she just jilts him and that's it will be poor ending.

The revenge plot won't go to plan, that much is obvious. If they really wanted Sharon to screw Phil over, they would have kept it a secret (like Den and the divorce papers). Sharon is also visibly showing signs of doubt and hesitation. I'm willing to bet she either won't go through with it, or Phil will find out.
There's also no way they're going to have Phil be completely broke, because the Mitchells always have to come out on top. |

I think Val is right. Phil will let it go because of guilt. Bah! |

He's already given her the hiding of her life and been the catalyst for her husband's murder. If anyone is due the hiding of their life it's Phil.

Never mind - I'm sure Shirley will make room for him in her nice cosy gutter and let him share her bottle of voddy. After all, all the Shirley-shippers have been longing for them to get back together again. |

Yes, but Dot certainly would NOT be pleased to hear that Sharon's husband-to-be had been shagging Shirley in the weeks before their wedding either. She would probably think that being made to pay serves Phil right - as it does.

I'm just not sure that sinking to Phil's level is the answer or that Sharon will get much approval for her actions. Of course I could be wrong and the locals could throw a street party.

She might end up with full ownership of the Albert but that will probably be it. I doubt she will completely ruin him it would be out of character if she did. I know she has done some things that weren't very nice but I think ultimately she is a decent person.

Never mind - I'm sure Shirley will make room for him in her nice cosy gutter and let him share her bottle of voddy. After all, all the Shirley-shippers have been longing for them to get back together again. I agree that Sharon and Shirley are the two women that could truly break his heart as said above. The way I see it is that Sharon is his 'ideal' and he wants to have that family unit and trophy wife but in reality his heart belongs to Shirley. He loves Sharon but is 'in' love with Shirley, though if this affair is just a plot device for Sharon's revenge and it shows that Phil has used her, then I will drastically change my opinion, we have had a lot of mixed signals this year imo, it's hard to keep up. I am interested to see how this will play out in the aftermath, from her previous stints, it doesn't strike me as something Sharon would do, I could see her trying to gain control of the Albert but to try to take everything from him and jilt him - funnily enough, if it was the other way around, people would hate Phil for doing what Sharon is doing even if it had been Sharon who sent thugs to beat Phil up. (Just savour that imagine for a moment, gangsta Sharon haha). I can't see the TPTB would leave Phil with nothing, there is also Ben, Jay, Lexi, Lola, Ronnie, Roxy to take into account and as I said above, I can't see Phil willingly letting Sharon live in his house and run his business while he sits back and does nothing. I also would have thought Phil would have some protection on his assets after Sharon tried to take over the Albert a few months back. |
