None of that invalidates my point about the effect of Colin's advocacy.
I agree that Kim has an "unfair" advantage too, and I mentioned in one thread or another that people might therefore feel better with an Ade win.
At this point, if Kim wins it's a bit of an anticlimax, because it was predictable; and if Edith wins it will be controversial because of the switch to txt voting and because Radio 1 is doing so much to get people to vote for Edith.
I'm not saying an Edith win would be undeserved, but I'd expect a lot of bitter fighting and spin about whether she won only because of the voting change or whether Kim never would have been there if not for
Eastenders and so tediously on.
I still want Kim to win, because she's the one who's affected me the most and the one I've enjoyed the most, even though I'm anything but a natural Kim fan. (I can't stand
Eastenders; I think soap actors are treated as much bigger stars and talents than they should be; and for the most part the sorts of music she's chosen would't be in my "play" list.)
