Do something like what they did for the 25th where dot and ian were watching that video showing the fowlers/beales, den and Angie! If they don't do this I will be very pissed off! They must highlight the fantastic show Julia smith and tony holland created! They changed the way soaps were written, and deserve tribute!:P

Hate to disappoint you Loulabelle but the 30th has already been plotted - It's the big reveal of the final six Carter secrets, leading directly into a Shirley-centric Eastenders Revealed episode.

I'd rather they showed a video of newly recorded footage of Pat. It's wrong she won't be a part of the 30th anniversary. They should do something to include her. She was part of the cast for 25 out of the 30 years.

Exactly that's what I mean, BK killing her off was pathetic, but no seriously if it's all about Lucy I will be so annoyed! They need to highlight the original EastEnders and maybe pay tribute to pat and peggy somehow!

Don't even get me started on the carters man, I'm so tired of them now! We need a break after the 30th, let characters like Sonia, stacey, kat, ronnie, phil, billy, max take Centre stage

well, considering DTC has been building the reveal up for 10 months I would be surprised if it wasnt all about Lucy

Agreed. Maybe Pat had a secret that Peggy discovers when she looks back on old home movie footage. Not some explosive dramatic storyline but just a little something to have in the background around the time of the 30th to include Pat in a small way.

Spoiler

I would like sharon to recover footage of her and michelle, Den and Angie, and the fowlers, I would like carol whitney and liam to recover footage of pat, and I would like phil to recover footage of him, grant, peggy and sam, or better still if they all showed up! Ian and dot will be too wrapped up in nick/Lucy drama to pay tribute, me dtc it's over to you... He's very wise and has the potential it's if he delivers

Or perhaps Peggy reads Harry Potter and goes in search of the 'Deathly Hallows' and uses the resurrection stone to bring Pat back from the dead. Very sad - but HP was big when I was little and I think this would be the perfect solution. Haha.

Anything to get Pat back on that square I'm still onboard with the idea of writing off Kirkwood's era as a bad dream

I would happily go along with that. Can we just pretend that it didn't happen and do a factory reset to before he took over? Take two! Haha.

There's always the Dallas option. Write it all off by having a character wake up to discover it was all a dream when they see Pat in the shower

sounds like a good idea but I honestly dont think the 30th will feature anything but Lucy Beale, her killer/s and the reasoning behind her death but we shall wait and see

Well they have a whole week to do this idea, you have to pay tribute to the show somehow though, I'm also hoping for at 'eastenders at 30' special to follow the episode, make a big deal of it! the 25th was all about archie but they still managed to add some history into the episode! It can easily be done in one of the episodes a during the week!:P

A realistic idea would be Rebecca - it must be her as a Fowler, doing a school project about her family history. As a result she gathers lots of old footage from various weddings/gatherings from over the years etc and puts it all together into one tape. Then at some point in the Anniversary week it can be played on screen.

Wrong! The Carter thing is during Christmas. 30th anniversary is all about the Beales with the whole Lucy's death saga.
