there are many good actors in that list, actors need other actors to have chemistry with and bounce off, they are given ridiculous storylines and scripts yet many of the above have coped fantastically. Dot/Phil/Shirley/Stacey/Ian/ are my top 4, doesnt mean to say i particularly like the characters but i think their acting is great and they cope with much of what is thrown at them. It takes good scripts to bring out good actors. I like to see characters acting completely out of character to see their skills. Everyone can cry, everyone can be a fog horn screaming across the street at someone or stand at a bar shouting out a few lines. Lauren Brannings done well as a teenage drunk for a younger cast member, then again i always liked the shy un confident Danielle who everyone called wooden, im sure the actress is bubbly as anything in real life but she portrayed this "shy timid kid searching for her mother" extremely well and i loved her character and acting skills ... sadly as viewers we dont see the same as each other

How on earth has Alfie got three votes?
Probably because some of us actually like him! One of them's mine and one could belong to Ozboz but I don't know about the other. |
