Yes I think its pretty obvious that this week has all just been about a plot device to bring Ben back in a dramatic fashion.
That is the trouble right now with what DTC is doing and trying to make every story a sensation. Using the Lucy story as a catalyst to bring ben into the show just shows how much they are trying to drag this storyline out.
As I said in my earlier post, none of what has happened so far has really uncovered anything and we are still none the wiser as to where this is going, as everyone has said its just red herring after red herring and its become very tedious and easy to see through these stories.
The fact that we can all see where this is going must be a bit of a smack in the face for DTC because if this is the best he can serve up given how much time has gone into planning, it doesn't really say much about his imagination or originality that most of us can predict where this is going.
