It's a low key episode but the quality, cast, and writing is just right, all low key eps should be like this, dtc got it just right at first before all these teenage love stories, teenage gangs, and constant carter stuff, I hope we can have more episodes like that one as we delve into autumn...

Yeah it's definitely beyond a joke now. Long gone is the custom of including the relevant soap name in the title of the thread and giving a brief titular summary of the content, now it's just a case of random (often capatlised with poor grammar) statements which hold no bearing on what the thread entails.

What irritates me the most is the deliberate use of misleading thread titles in order to get people to read their posts. For example, there was a thread title on here yesterday that was labelled Dominic Treadwell-Collins interview! which had no bearing to an actual interview taken place. The OP just wanted to know when there would be a DS interview conducted with him.

Yes, I did see that one! I thoroughly enjoy discussion on the forum but nowadays the threads which could spark an intellectual discussion are bumped to page five as specific posters feel the need to be the first to break the news of every single soap related story.

That's exactly my point. If you'd have put in the thread title it was to do with EE, then I wouldn't have needed to read it or comment

Sorry for misleading you. Yes, I did start that thread. I will think before I start a thread next time. Lol! It's like being told off by my mother!

Don't be so absurd.

It's just basic manners to state what the thread is actually about in my opinion. Sticking the initials of the soap you are going to talk about in the thread title doesn't take long and it just makes things easier to find.
