A bland courgette.
Best bet would probably be to roast it, scoop out the flesh and stuff it. If you have a big family or guests round it could fill them all. Another suggestion would be to dice the flesh and roast it and use it as filler in a nice sauce, like ratatouille. |

I feel the same about aubergines. ![]() Thanks for the suggestions. |

I love marrows! Chop up and put in a saucepan with the tiniest bit of water with lots of butter. Cook gently until tender. Or stuff it... http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/stuffed_marrow_43279

![]() This looks very appealing: http://thefreshprincessofbelair.word...d-ginger-soup/ I can relate to the quote by Nigel Slater that he's “always had [his] doubts about any vegetable heavy enough to be used as a murder weapon” I note that the blogger blanched and froze a portion. I may have to do that - this thing's a bit of a beast |

Make some chutney, although if it's that big I would use some of the other ideas too!

Send it Deirdre Barlow, 1 Coronation Street, Weatherfield, and ask her to stuff it for you.

If I went round someones house and they gave me stuffed marrow for a meal it would probably be the last time I ever went round.

Courgette strips make a handy addition to a filling for fajitas. 3kg is a bit too much. About 100gm maybe.

I had a dream last night that I found a marrow in the fridge. Having never eaten marrow, I'm pretty sure it's to do with this thread
