No one. EastEnders will be axed by then.

I can't see Shirley, Nancy and Linda sticking around for another 10 years.

Ian, Phil, Max, Sharon, etc will probably stick around for the 40th but no idea about the future.

All soaps will if they don't stop being lazy, the quality in EE this summer has been awful, not as bad as corrie though!

If EastEnders shown a blank screen it wouldn't be as bad as corrie

(Just kidding)

I was joking actually. I thought i'd get my post in before someone else. EastEnders and Corrie (Most likely Emmerdale too) will still be here in 10/11 years time.

Hard to predict.

I think June Brown has indicated she will stay until she shuffles of the mortal coil so it will depend on her health if June stays as she will be 98 in the year of the 40th.

I think Linda Carter will still be there but not Mick.I think all the Masoods will be gone,Ronnie and Alfie gone too.
I think the idea is to keep Ian and Phil there as long as possible but beyond that I expect the cast will be radically different.

Yeah I know, it will be around because they're building that new set, EE has been messy this summer though, hope things improve by the autumn, dtc has give us a lot of empty promises!

At a guess I would say

Ian
Jane
Dot - depending on June's health
Phil
Sharon - I think she is here for the long haul now
Stacey
Jean - I think Gillian will be back next year
Sonia
Rebecca
Max
Abi
Linda - Kellie will stay the longest out of all her family
Shirley
Denise
Roxy

Probably Ian Beale and Phil Mitchell because I don't think TPTB have the balls/heart to axe Ian and Phil is teflon coated and has a hide like an elephant!

If EE is still on telly by then that is!

Dexter - without doubt the biggest icon the show has ever produced.

Of the current cast only 17 were there ten years ago, so I guess that's kind of an average

Dot Cotton...Cora Cross...Jim Branning....Peggy Mitchell....and they're all in the graveyard.

Tanya and janine will hopefully be there too! I think a mitchell reunion is desperately needed!

It is far too hard to predict the next 10 years in soapland. Five years ago I thought we had years and years of Pat Butcher left.

No such luck to that .

I really, really doubt it.

I can't see Mick still being in the show in the next two years, let alone the next ten-and-a-half. Unless Danny Dyer comes and goes like Mike Reid did during his 18 year stint.

I'm in full agreement with the rest of the people you mentioned though except for Babe who I believe has a short shelf life.

Despite his protests to the contrary I really cant see Danny Dyer staying all that long with the show.

I think Janine or Sharon will be the next Landlady.

Well Danny Dyer said he's here for a "twenty stretch" so I wonder if he'll be there.

ImpoSsivle to say - so much can change in 11 years - actors careers, health, exdec producers whims re axings?!

That said, i'd say Ian is the best bet. With the best will in the world, June Brown would be in 90ish by 2025 so that is unlikely.

It's rarely the ones you want to stay.

I'd like Janine, Billy, Patrick and Stacey to still be around. No doubt Phil and Ian will still be there. I don't think the Carters will stay that long.
