Why do people think Max will stick around for another 10 years? He is a bit part character, and no-one likes him anyway. Surely DTC must realise this?

His wife has run off, his kids are leaving, what is his storylines then? Having an affair every month? Surely DTC aren't that boring?

I know who I would like to be there come the 40th - Dot, Phil, Shirley, Jane, Janine...and so on but I'd find it impossible to predict who will actually be still be there, a lot can happen in 10 years and with the way reality TV is dominating, I'm not sure soaps will even survive that long.

I enjoy Patrick scenes in the pub, would be good if he was next in line, just without Kim being in charge of designing it or it would be a lot worse than the parrot paper upstairs in the living room!

I'd be disappointed if Janine or Sharon were next, Janine seems better elsewhere (when on the square) and Sharon would just annoy me in charge of the vic nowadays, it's bad enough in her bar now which should of stayed as the salon for Deans 'Blades'

Deans blades is a joke and such a vile and horrible set, I can't wait for tanya to come back and take over, better actress aswell... And I'd like a carter mix up, or a mitchell reunion in the vic! Janine would be good but not sharon! The carters are no longer exciting just a borefest who add comedy (which EE is shite at)
