She sounds like she's got a good view of the show and it's direction.
It's a very good interview and the producer is making good progress for the future. I wish the casualty producers would kill off one of its regular characters because we haven't had a main character death since 2011.

I wonder if the return might be Ruth - it would be an interesting dynamic between her and Connie, as Connie appeared in Ruth's first episode and she was totally in awe of her. I'm glad it's not Jordan, as that would be a bit less of surprise.

I thought the producer said 'he' in the interview.... rules out all the possible female returns. Was really hoping it would be Nick Jordan.

I actually liked him with Jessica, it was his involvement with Kirsty I didn't like.
I think he would clash well with Connie, he would not put up with her pushing him around.
Adam would give Cal a run for his money in the good looking department.
