Just put up this week's EastEnders review including tears, Ian Beale facing tough questions, some Lucy Beale murder speculation (could Ben have worn the hat?) and a salute to two younger stars.

Would love to hear your thoughts! Rory

Perfect. I love how you take the mick, while still obviously loving the show. I fail at this. Everyone just thinks I hate the show.

"Played by a variety of child actors who are little more than props, until replaced by a good looking teenager... Who's personality changes based on the needs of the storyline."
"Every other male in the square has, so he might as well get a few weeks of screentime from it"

Laughed out loud at those bits. Best one yet! I look forwards to these at the end of the week.

Ah thanks so much! BTW on the Rainie thing I think while she was treated horribly by the men, they're actually going to bring her back in a month or two with Phil having secretly paid for her rehab.

Imagine a Phil and (cleaned-up) Rainie pairing actually…

Really? I think we're going to find Rainie dead on the Common...

Then it would be Sharon pretending to still love Phil, while Phil takes his sexual frustrations out on Shirley, while cheating on Sharon with Shirley and Shirley with Rainie

Nah Phil had the same addiction and so he could recognise her desperation, reckon he'll quietly help her out. I think 'Man pays desperate woman for sex, his friend kills her to shut her up' would be a little too dark, even for EE!

Oh! I don't think Phil would do it, but I think she'll be killed off as a curveball for the investigation. It will turn out to be unrelated to Lucy's death (some mad punter), but it will mean Keeble will start investigating both Phil and Ian.

I read somewhere that she's in the show 'til February so I can't see her being killed off.

Nice review Rory....you play a good weasel although I have a preference for your David Wicks

Nah I really think Phil recognises the torture Rainie is going through, plus it makes sense to 'clean up' the character and bring her back in as Cora's volatile but vulnerable daughter.

Loved it! It's very true that Mick has been reminding us a lot about how we should be sympathising with Ian!!
