Limited access because of The Sun paywall but Daniella has told the paper shes been back on it 4 months and even had sex with one of her dealers.Im not shicked as her behaviour on twitter/Instagram has been odd but I am sad for her in a way.”

Who cares? there are more people that deserve sympathy rather than this self destructive loser.

Some of us have enough sympathy to go round those other people and also have some left over for Danniella Westbrook.

I really gutted Daniella was a troubled teen that turned into a serious addict, she then turned her life around, so to see this. Sadly not sure this will end well

Her life must be miserable. She KNOWS she's washed up as far as her career is concerned, but I can't say that I am surprised. Hopefully she books herself into rehab soon and 'tries' to kick it. If she has NO support (seeing everyone sees her as a waste time) then she won't ever get better.

They should now bring back Kim (if they ever need the character to return) as she could actually act - not merely gurn in a variety of pantomime ways.

She's an idiot. Hasn't she got children? What a disgraceful display from an adult woman.

They should, but I wouldn't blame her if she refused to return after they gave the part back to Westbrook.

Sums up what I was going to say.

She has an addictive personality, clearly

Just goes to show once you're a addict - you're ALWAYS an addict. Doesn't matter how long you've been clean. Only takes one bag of drugs to get hooked again. We've seen it time and time again with celebrities. Rehab is a revolving door and more often than not it does not help kick the habit in the long-term.

Just caught the "This Morning" Interview, i wish her all the best in overcoming this dreadful addiction.

She was sober when she decided to give it another go, why is she looking for sympathy now?

I feel so sorry for her. I know all the arguments, she has free will, it was her choice but she was so young when she first became involved with drugs that I'd argue she didn't know what she was doing and having got addicted so badly back then, the battle not to go back to it when times are hard must be a constant struggle.

I wish her all the best for a recovery.

Shouldn't her blithe admissions of drug use result in an arrest? Oh yes, I forgot, she's a 'celebrity'

She pours her heart out in a newspaper interview, gets paid a 4, possibly 5 figure sum for it and will then blow the lot on more crack.

I do feel sorry for her and yes, of course addiction is a terrible thing that many do not overcome, but it's hard to give her all my sympathy when she flouts a law the rest of us do not and then gets paid to tell all.

4 months? She miscarried quite recently.. I really hope she wasn't taking it when she was pregnant. Cocaine can be devastating to an unborn baby.

Some people use other people's misfortune or personal problems to make themselves feel superior. Now that really is low.

To the people on here who are quick to insult her and call her an "idiot", you must live an extremely sheltered life if you cannot even remotely understand things from her point of view. It's called empathy. A lot of people sadly don't have it.

So many people have dabbled in drugs when they were younger. It's hardly crime of the century for a high-profile soap star on the club scene in the 90s to dabble in coke. Sadly for her, having an addictive personality made her pay for her actions. The fact that she managed to turn her life around completely after being only a few weeks away from death deserves a lot of credit. But no - in a lot of people's eyes, if you take drugs in the first place, you shouldn't be allowed any respect or sympathy, no matter how much you try and redeem yourself. Some people in this country are just ridiculously naive.

Good post, I completely agree with you.

Life can be very hard for all of us. I know they are well remunerated and can live comfortable lives but I do have some sympathy for young celebs whose moment of glory fades very quickly and publicly. That must be very difficult to live with. Sometimes we all need something to block out the pain, however stupid and destructive that something is.

That is very true, she's not unusual in that respect. We are all human and we ultimately all have the same vulnerability, I have known people with addictions and they were lost and unsure of themselves- they weren't bad people at all. With a little more understanding the world would be a kinder place.
