People who need to get out more- the things they complain about are so trivial or imaginary that they're clearly not enjoying life.

I don't mind a bit of trivia, hell, I waste enough time on a soap forum but it's the undercurrent of malice in quite a few that is unpleasant.

What I meant is whinging about the smallest things and making it into a bigger problem than it is. It's an undercurrent yes but some of it is quite blatant. The trivial things we go on about here is what it is- comments about fictional characters. Paranoid hatred towards particular groups based on delusions and imaginary nonsense is quite different.
