scart problem
Hi all,
My dad has a problem with his cable box and TV. he has an old(ish) Tv that doesnt have HDMI and the cable box is is connected by scart. Every couple of seconds the picture jumps to the left slightly then to the right. Any ideas how to solve it other than try a new scart lead? Is it one of the output settings from the cable box? I remember having this problem myself years ago and think I solved it by changing one of the settings but cannot remember which one. Many thanks. |

It shouldn't be doing this whatever the setting however RGB can cause a slight shift to the left so if you solved it before by altering settings I would start by looking at the RGB/PAL output setting. Also check the SCART lead is pushed in properly and try a replacement.

Thanks for the reply, a different scart lead seems to have done the trick.
