What's the betting, Jac Jossa won't want to come back beyond 2015?

Why would she walk away from a well paid job with financial stability? if anything this will probably make her stay with EE for a lot longer.

I can't see her leaving the show permanently. After all, there's only so many reality shows Dan can do and fees from his personal appearences won't give them much financial stability.

EastEnders pays very well, and she's probably earning a lot more than the rest of her friends. She'd be stupid to throw such a well paid job away.

If anything I think she'll stay for longer for the financial stability.

I don't think she'll leave,I agree with others who are saying that she will stay for the financial support which is understandable

I doubt she will, depends what contract she on and if after she comes back from maternity the writers feel they can continue back were they was with her.

She'll stay (especially after her babydaddy cheats on her with a TOWIE co-star or something).

Yes. Whilst i'm not one of those people that think actors have it easy something like EE is about as secure and normal re working hours and employment conditions (maternity leave etc) as you're going to get in acting. Yes they sometimes have night shoots and 60 hour weeks if they are at the forefront of s plot but they do get 'down' time and often finish late afternoons / early evening and can live fairly close to work. Much easier (and better paid) than having to slog round the Country doing repertory theatre and working every night in a play or having to live away from home for months on end filming a short tv show or film.

That's why the older an actor is when they join a soap, the more likely they are to stay longer term as they've learnt how difficult and unstable acting is so are grateful for the financial security and stable home life a soap can give them and their family whereas the younger ones don't have that consideration, can move more easily (don't need to worry about child care, schools) and still have that dream / belieft that they could become an Oscar winner.

Jacqueline Jossa may choose to leave, stay or even be axed if the SL demands a Lauren and she's not available. She's just one of a number of actors in EE. If EE really want a Lauren, there are plenty more actresses out there including the original.

She's ruined her life getting pregnant, so I doubt she'll want to lose her financial security. However one can but hope.....

How has she ruined her life. Would I ruin my life when I have kids? Are you a dad yourself if your not then how do you know that baby ruins peoples life's. If babies do ruin life's then I wouldn't be her today and neither would you and other FMs on here.

I don't see how she has ruined her life. She's 21. Not 15. She has a great paying job to provide for the baby.

I just hope they don't write the pregnancy in, as i feel a child for Lauren is not the way to go for her character.

actors are funny about long term jobs, so ive stopped expecting them to stick to a regular gig, meanwhile im not sure a baby will make her crave financial stability in the way you might expect, you just have to look at her on screen mother for that, she had a baby, then didnt come back to the show for ages, then left again.

I believe Jo took a year out, which is perfectly normal for any maternity leave. The actress who plays Kim has been on a long maternity leave as well.

I couldn't blame her if she does dicide to leave for good. You work really long hours on soaps. More hours than the average job. So she wouldn't see much of her baby. Unless they let her work less hours. I hope she doesn't leave for good as I really like her character.

Especially as she had twins. She was then back for 2 years and is quite possibly more financially stable given she is older with several good jobs behind her where she could have saved money and is also married to somebody with a decent wage.

Aslo, iirc Joyner's twins were the result of IVF so she is unlikely to have more, perhaps not surprising she wants to spend as much time as possible with them when they are very young. I imagine she'll start working more once they are firmly established at school.

No Jo didn't take a year out. Tanya left in December 2009 and returned for a one off episode in June 2010 and then Tanya returned in September 2010.
