Yep, I thought dominic would make it more like pre2010, but it still has BK and LN written all over it

I'm hoping the show progresses after the 30th and not to the opposite like it did after the 25th!

EE - Stopped watching in 2011 and from what I hear, it is still not good enough to watch again.

CS: Have gone off it since Stuart Blackburn turned up. I am now an occasional viewer

ED: I have not missed an episode since 2006 (Marlon & Donna's house explosion). I like Marlon, one of my favourite characters.

I watch EE and Corrie off and on now I use to never miss an episode but for the past few months I found most episodes boring, the only soap I watch regularly now is HO. I keep up to date with spoilers, but I'm not a big fan as I once was.

Started to loose interest in EE when they brought in the Slaters and they were rammed down our throats at the expense of all the other characters. Kept watching until they brought in Stacey, ditto as above, then the turgid "snot and tears" that was the Ronnie era really finished it for me.

TPTB seem to hone in on one character and go all out to fill every episode and every scene with that person, mostly going round in circles.

Corrie does it too, especially with the Tina fiasco. Although tbh, Corrie's downturn is because of the producer. He did the same thing with Emmerdale.

Maybe see how things go with Eastenders until after the 30th and see if you think its better you never know you might love it again

I went off Pobol Y Cwm briefly when Jim stole Dai's wheelie bin but I was tempted back by that erotic, sultry, nude scene of Gaynor in the shower. I was amazed they showed it at 6.35 pm.

I only watch Eastenders now.
I used to watch Hollyoaks when it first started.
I never got back into Home and Away after it left ITV and had a 2 year gap. Then it was on 5. Ailsa was dead and it just felt weird.
I used to dip in and out of Corrie, but haven't watched in years
I used to watch Neighbours until about 4 years ago, can't remember why I stopped watching, but I saw an episode a few months ago and was astonished to see Doug Willis, who I thought left years ago.
I have never watched Emmerdale.

I gave up on EE in 2010, returned in August 2012, gave up again at the beginning of 2013, returned at the end of 2013.

Gave up on Corrie and Emmerdale in 2012. Just too much soap to watch!

Home and Away. Stopped watching at the start of this year after hospital explosion. It was all Braxton focused, bed hoping, unlikable teens and not enough stories for the oldies. I might start watching again if they get new producers.

I didn't go off Emmerdale - it disappeared. There I was, happily watching a pleasant rural show, when it disappeared before my eyes. The woman who was employed to produce Emmerdale changed it into a Gansta's R Us to please herself. I live in hopes of somebody resurrecting Emmerdale at some time.

I gave up on Eastenders last year and Neighbours in 2011. Only have time to watch Corrie, but it's become dreadful.

Gave up on Emmerdale a while ago. i can't really remember why; I just missed a few episodes and never bothered catching up again.

I've never totally gone off Eastenders, although there have been times when it's not been very interesting. Right now, I think it's in a very good place again.

I went off Hollyoaks for a whole year when they had a load of silly storylines involving Bombhead. Unfortunately, though, I missed Mandy and Tony's grief over the cot death.

I went off Corrie for around three years and stopped watching following some very daft storylines involving Derek and Mavis, even though I was a fan of both characters. But I did miss some big storylines over the next couple of years.

Now it's in a really awful state, but I always insist on watching it, even though I haven't gained much pleasure from it. I am looking forward to Ken and Deirdre's mini-break in the countryside, however!

I used to be an avid viewer of Neighbours when I was younger, but I drifted away from it. The Kennedy family have always been the main reason to tune in, and it's them that I would tune back in for. But I am not really a fan of a lot of the other characters, and it seems to be aimed at teens more than anything.

I went off Corrie back when Tracey returned and only recently returned, however it's been awful since I started watching it again.
Ive drifted in and out of HO over the past year and will probably stop watching it altogether soon.
If I drop HO I could probably watch ED instead.

I keep watching them but they keep getting in my bad books!

EastEnders at the moment, because nothing much seems to be happening.
I haven't watched it religiously, every episode, for a while though.
I just watch for the storylines I like the sound of, and the characters I like i.e. Stacey and Ronnie.

I'm definitely going off Hollyoaks right now.
The writing is just awfull, but there's still characters I like that keep me watching.

Cor dear look at all those returns, it's like you think you're Bianca or Joe_zel or something!

I've given up on EE. I used to love the soap but I just lost interest around the time the Carters joined. I thought I'd try to watch it last night but it was dire. Max had another family dinner where he kicked off and threw everybody out again, Lauren strutting round after "dean", who I have to say seems to have had a personality transplant, he's nothing like he was before. Whitney's earrings!!! Couldn't concentrate on anything anybody was saying when she was on screen cos all I was thinking was how much I wanted to rip them out!!
The whole hospital drama with Denise, Ian and Patrick was awful. Sorry to all you EE fans but I doubt I'll be tuning in again.
