I think it's real shame we didn't get to hear Edith's performance probably as what you could hear sounded great. I think they were all good tonight, but Ade and Kim will go through 'cos you could hear them. It's a shame we won't have another chance to hear Edith.

Adrian - he is a comic...he can sing...and he entertains the crowd...kim and edith are the boring run-of-the-mill type singers that always get to the final...if adrian doesnt win then i will start wondering if only the mcfly fans are voting tonight...

I wouldn't worry too much, it was a bit unfair on Edith but most voters have already made up there minds I should think.

What about the people who only watched tonight and had 10 mins to vote?

Would there be that many that it would make a difference? I don't think so personally, I could be wrong though.

There are also a lot of people, like my mum, who have watched every episode, but because they're not on the internet, hadn't a clue they'd only be text message voting for 10 minutes. So I was the cause of my mum surreptiously texting for Ade all day at work! But I imagine a lot have people will have tuned in just at the beginning and not realised.

They're taking last nights votes into account too so Edith could do well out of it considering Colin has been telling Radio 1 listeners about the voting situation and giving out her text number. Kim and Adrian fans may be the ones that get caught out the worst.

I didn't know we only had 10 minutes to vote. I couldn't read the number to text to on my non-widescreen TV and my husband and I both wanted to vote Edith, who we had heard earlier in the week (luckily - we certainly couldn't tonight!).
We feel cheated! (And Comic Relief lost the money from our messages!)
(And I haven't listened to Radio One since Capital started in 1970 something).

Which phone votes were counted? One from before last night's show, or only ones after?

Anyway, there wasn't much time to txt after kim tonight.

Yep, I agree. Kim is by far the best Voice of the contest.

Much time? I thought more like no time.

Reminds me of the Sinead/Chipmonk final where people could not get through to Sinead's number but had no problem with David's - surprise, surprise, the Chipmonk won.

If Edith wins this, I think it'll be a bit like Saddam winning an Iraqi election when he was in power!
