Anyway, they all sound pretty promising. I thought it was Robots of Sherwood instead of the singular....? I prefer the plural. Liking the sound of this series!

There's a few episodes in there written by two writers? Will it be written as such on television?

It'll be credited like the way Planet Of The Dead and The Waters Of Mars writers were credited.

The Caretaker sounds promising. Either a completely misleading title or should lead on from The Day of the Doctor.

Presumably, it's a pun on 'Robin', and so wouldn't work in plural?

They all sound really good. I'm extremely excited

Tom Baker was referred to as being the Curator. So it is unlikely to have anything to do with him.

But I'll wait to see!

As for the titles - Some of those sound pretty good for titles! I like the fact that we get some real enigmas there... Was getting bored of the: 'The The of The The'...

The Caretaker is obvious to anybody who happened to catch a few days of location filming It does what it says on the tin..

Moffat has been involved in 7 scripts. Glad to see he's keeping an eye on things.

Not that he didn't rewrite stuff before.

InB4 someone complains about the episode titles not being in spoiler tags!

Anyway, they all sound pretty interesting, but I'll have to wait until I see the episodes before I understand what most of them mean.
By the way is it "Robots of Sherwood" or "Robot of Sherwood"?

It's a Gareth Roberts episode, so I imagine it will be very similar in style to "The Lodger".

Some plot information based of filming reports:
Spoiler
The Doctor becomes a caretaker at Coal Hill School. It has nothing to do with the Curator as far as I know.

All looking good so far.
A few things stick out.
It shall be interesting to see how Ben Wheatley approaches the show, the Dalek episode in particular.

Good to see co-writing credits on a few Moffat episodes. One with Gareth Roberts which makes me think The Caretaker will be the fun episode of the series. The Phil Ford co-written one is another to look out for considering his last collaboration was the excellent Waters Of Mars.

Mummy On The Orient Express sounds like it could be another Agatha Christie ‘homage’ episode akin to Unicorn/Wasp. No doubt I am 100% wrong though.

No grumbles from me.

The pre interviews that hint at more focus on character and drama have got me all buttered up in a rather pervy lava…eh?

A very excited, but twice bitten and cautious customer.
Hasn’t it all come round quick since the 50th...this Saturday..bloody hell.

Spoiler
Dark Water and (probably) Death in Heaven

I'm also intrigued by "In the Forest of the Night". It's a very dark-sounding and interesting title and I know absolutely nothing about the episode.

Oopsies! Mistook the Curator for the Caretaker. Just remembered, that was TDTWTW! Silly me

Is this the first series where they haven't TBA'ed any of the titles? I always liked a TBA to keep the suspense up

I love In The Forest Of The Night as a title.

Most of them titles were expected apart from episode 10 and 11.

"In the Forest of the Night" sounds like the beginning of a spooky fairytale, which I imagine is what it will be!

I have to admit I thought "Gates of Paradise" sounded good for episode 11 and a lead into "Death in Heaven", but it did sound like an 11th Doctor finale. We're going into darkness now, it's time to move on. Dark Water is more fitting of this era by the sounds of it!

As for normally having a TBA, it probably would have been episode 12,, but it was one of the first titles to leak, so I imagine they didn't want to pretend we didn't know.

While most series' may have had episode titles not known till the official press release I think the only episode that was ever kept back from the official announcement due to spoilers was The Stolen Earth.

I am really liking these titles. They are very good titles if I have to say so myself.

RTD has said under the contract he had, he could have had almost every episode in his era credited to the original writer and himself, depending on the amount of script polishing he had done.
