Hollyoaks: Anyone looking forward to next week? (Thread includes spoilers)
I personally can't wait - it sounds really action packed with high drama, just like the week when Finn drugged Patrick. I'm so relieved for Nancy's sake that Phoebe interrupts Finn. I hope Phoebe accompanies her to the police station for moral support. I understand that Darren does from the pictures. Can't wait to see Robbie confront Finn - at this point I don't care who turns Finn in as long as someone does.
Just two questions; When did Phoebe and Robbie get back together? I thought they broke up because of his crush on Nancy? What were Robbie's exam results? |

I'm also quite excited and hopefully it should be quite good also I thought Phoebe and Robbie were broken up as well and Robbie got three Bs and a fail.

Hi Lizzie
I'm looking forward to next week too. I also wonder if they will show JP's reaction to Nancy's attempted rape. I do hope so. We do know JP walks her down the aisle the day after. I also can't wait to see Robbie & Finn's confrontation. We know Robbie will tell Finn he is going to the police to confess but I still think Finn will get away with it for the time being. We know that Robbie has an argument with Nancy not long before her attack & tries to kiss her & she slaps him & that Nancy will go on to accuse the wrong person of the attack which will probably be either Rick or Robbie. I think her affair with Rick will come out at her wedding reception as well. |

I think her affair with Rick will come out at her wedding reception as well. Though I wish Robbie wouldn't jeopardise his relationship with Phoebe or Nancy's job by making a pass at her, he's miles better than he used to be and I'm glad he gives Finn an earbashing. I would also be interested to see JP's reaction, though it seems unlikely that JP like Robbie will immediately assume Finn is to blame - I guess if Nancy is determined to go through with her wedding anyway then JP walking up the isle with her makes sense. I have no idea if it's Robbie or Rick she accuses but probably Rick if the one night stand is to come out. whichever one it is, I feel incredibly sorry for him - blamed for Finn's heinous crime. |

I'm not looking forward to Nancy being attacked. It seems like another way to drag out this storyline since it's not clear it was Finn and make JP look even more stupid and irresponsible for not reporting the rape.

So The Roscoe twins got decent exam results, what is meant to be the consequence of that? What are they meant to be going on to do next? Anyone know?

Jason didn't get good results and I don't know what they're doing next.
I think it's relatively unusual for people to sit A levels with no plan as to what to do after that (results permitting) generally people go to uni, apprenticeship, gap year or something like that. |

Next week's spoilers:
Monday - Meanwhile, Finn is shocked when his ex Amber Sharpe and daughter Bella turn up at his front door. Amber tells him that she has split with her boyfriend Dale and her mum Gabby has disowned her. Tony and Diane give Amber money for a taxi home but Finn refuses to let them go. However, it soon becomes clear that Amber is planning something… Also today, Nancy is exasperated that it's four days until their wedding and Darren isn't lifting a finger. Rick offers to help, but Robbie warns his dad away from Nancy and Darren. Tuesday - Meanwhile, Finn and Amber ask Diane for a deposit so they can get their own place. Elsewhere, Rick tells Nancy that he is going to leave her and Darren alone from now on, but will he stand by his promise? Wednesday - Finn sees Amber and Bella heading for the bus stop and becomes furious when he realises they're leaving. Nancy has to break them apart, giving Amber a chance to jump into a taxi - but it's clear that she has made an enemy in the form of evil Finn. Later, Nancy argues with Robbie outside the pub. However, when Robbie leaves, Nancy is attacked. Fortunately Phoebe spots what is happening and chases off the perpetrator. She is stunned when Nancy reveals that the mystery guy was about to rape her… Thursday - Phoebe takes Nancy to the police station and Darren rushes to be by her side. At the same time, Finn is desperate to get home unseen. Once he arrives back, it looks like Finn is about to confess to Diane - but will he? Soon afterwards, Phoebe tells Robbie what happened. Knowing who must be responsible, Robbie goes straight round to the O'Connors' and tells Finn that he is going to the police. Nancy is questioned further by the detective and when asked if she had an argument with anyone, Nancy thinks she knows who attacked her - but she has it wrong. As the eventful night continues, Phoebe then goes home and tells John Paul about Nancy. Friday - The village is shocked by the recent arrest, while Nancy is determined to go through with her wedding to Darren. A proud John Paul walks Nancy down the aisle and everything seems to be going well, but there are fireworks at the wedding reception when something triggers Nancy's memory about what happened the night before. I get the feeling that poor Robbie is the shock arrest but in that case, I don't understand why JP wouldn't say anything. On the other hand, if it's Rick then I can understand both JP and Robbie hesitating as they don't know much about Rick. It's interesting that Nancy's memory is triggered after the arrest - I expect Finn does/says something that makes Nancy realise it was him, not Robbie or Rick - after all the net is meant to close in on Finn. |

Does anyone remember when Luke Morgan was raped? |

I agree! It takes the attention off the JP/Finn storyline. The whole point of it was that it was a hate crime linked to wider bullying. Blessing fits in with that because again, it's a hate crime. Having Finn attack Nancy muddies the waters and makes it all about Finn rather than JP. Because of course it's more entertaining to have a baddie rather than a victim.
Does anyone remember when Luke Morgan was raped? I don't mind though because it shows Finn hates anyone who he thinks gets in his way/angers him and wants to punish them/teach them a lesson. He's so dangerous. |

It's still better than the storyline not airing at all. Nothing much has happened since Ste kidnapped Finn so I'm glad things are picking up again.

I don't get why JP lied to Ste to protect Finn?! I thought the struggle was admitting it to Ste at all, now he has come this far I thought he may have wanted revenge or retribution?

I don't think he did it to protect Finn. He did it to protect Ste - stop Ste from doing something stupid and getting into trouble. Remember he had no qualms about telling Tony that Finn was in the Hutch, hungover.

The person you 'love' should be the first person you confide in. If he properly discussed everything with Ste they could decide the best course of action together. The trouble is as many have pointed out; the reason none of the characters act in a sensible or even logical manner is because they want the storyline to drag on as long as possible.
