Hollyoaks 4000th episode
vkmax
18-08-2014
Hollyoaks 4000th episode will air on Friday November 21st which is around the time the annual explosion of fire usually happens.

Any theories on where it may go this year? I'm assuming that Mercedes will be central somehow and I think it may also be the culmination of the Blake story (they both joined around that time in 2012 so contractually it would make sense).

Hollyoaks do not really pay attention to anniversaries. They did not do anything for their 15th year as they were going to do a sweet eighteenth but then they cancelled that. I think the next thing they will do is their 21st year in 2016.

They did do something for their 15th I think that was inferno week and they did do the 18th with the episode with Tony and blast week.

The 1000th (?) was the whole reveal thing with Toby and Ellie.
The 2000th was Jacquis wedding to Alek (?)
The 3000th was that awful twins being born in Cinergy.
The 18th was the explosion week and the actual 18th anniversary episode was another set of twins being born and the Tony flashbacks.

That's utter rubbish. First it's sweet sixteenth they where going to do and they did it.

15th - Fire week where Steph died.
16th - WAG wedding/Silas reveal
18th - Clare and the bomb/Tony's past episode where he met Diane.

We can't really relate to what was going on in the show at that time as "what they did for the anniversary".

The show never really publically celebrates anniversaries. They made a deal out of the 3000th episode, and a little bit about the 18th birthday, but not much.

I don't think they'll do anything overly massive as that's a month away from Christmas so I think they may save anything major for Christmas and have the build up all before then, although there could possibly be a separate drama on November 21st, either way I hope they do something for their 4000th ep
