Watching Films on a Bush TV??
I've a Bush TV with a USB port on it and want to know what's the best way of watching films that are on a external hard drive.
Is there a specific format the films need to be so i can find it on the ext hard drive and watch it on the TV?? |

What model number is it and what info does the instruction book give. Does it actually say it can play video files?
If it's a Vestel based model then you have little or no chance, the USB port is usually just for photos and MP3 files. I was playing with a newish Toshiba badged Vestel a few weeks ago and even the PVR function had been dropped. |

TV's that support USB playback will mostly play Mp4 H.246, Mpeg 1 & 2, Divx and mkv. Try playing a selection of files, the TV will either play them or not. |

It can't play videos - taken from the Argos website:
Hi, Thanks for your question. The USB playback feature allows you to view photos on your television, if they are stored on the USB stick. Thank you for using Argos Q&A |
