Is Dean mad or have mental health issues? He creeps me out with that stupid smile and I'm left confused cos I never know why he's laughing. He does it every time Linda knocks him back and even more so when she slapped him.
And then..... tonight...when he told Linda he was flattered but it was just a drunken kiss...almost as if it's all in her head; I'm not sure what his aim is.....he doesn't seem to have that much of a problem with Mick or is he jealous that Shirley likes Mick a lot and wants to ruin things for him and split him up from his wife? I just don't know what this guy is playing at??? He seems a bit loopy to me....

I have always thought and still maintain my prediction that this storyline is about Dean's mental health.

I think he's playing mind games with Linda, trying to break her down. He has ulterior motives for his apparently contradictory behaviour.

I don't know whether it's jealously or a ulterior motive to wreck The Carter family apart by going after Mick's wife as his seen as the sort of head and has the family and adoration of Shirley and Tina and Dean is jealous of this or as said possibly a mental health issue.

I hope eventually we see them address what went on inside, it's had a massive effect on him and changed him completely I think it would be wrong not to go into it more.

I don't think that Ronnie will take kindly to her title of 'Walford's Most Batshit Nutcase" being under threat when she returns.

Yes, mind games and ulterior motives....makes sense, but this guy is off his rocker.....remember when he gave phil a shave with that blade!?!.... Now he's called his places blades! Spooky.
