Something doesn't seem right about that result as she was even in the bottom 3 the night before... Yeah kims supporters were so damn cocksure she had won they did not bother to vote..tough.... |

I just don't get the appeal of Edith and I don't really care why she won - whether it was through genuine public support based on performance, or through a load of hype drummed up by BBC bias. Money was raised for charity, job done.
The thing that amused me was my Mum's phone call to me this morning. She had no idea who most of the "celebs" were but liked Dawn and Kim based on vocals. Her comment on Edith's victory was "I bet the producers were annoyed she won as she can't even talk. It's not as if she is going to get offered anything off the back of this as nobody can understand a word she mumbles". I then pointed out that she is a presenter and a DJ which didn't go down well and got the whole "BBC dumbing down" spiel. So, after having a snigger to myself about Edith's poor presentation skills, I realised that if my Mum, as a fairly neutral viewer, couldn't see any Edith bias on the show as she was amazed that the Bowman won - perhaps it is all in our minds. |

There have been numerous debates over what CFA is looking for. So was Edith..
the best singer .......in terms of range and delivery - Kim, Dawn and Debra were all superior. the most entertaining..... that title was better awarded to Ade or Reggie the most improved.... I saw very little difference between Edith at the end and Edith at the start of the programme. the best looking .... errrrr the most promoted definitely on Radio 1 and BBC 3 and probably overall. My only hope is that from now on Edith will get the traditional reality star treatment from the music industry. |

Why be mean to her. She did it to raise money for comic relief. I think she was really brave to go on any reality show in the first place.
She must have had a pretty good idea how it all works. She commentated on BB3, whilst on RISE, commentated on the last FA on her and Colin's radio show- and yet she still had the guts to do it. How many other presenters like Ant ot Dec or Dermot and Davina, would go near appearing on a reality show? I know I wouldnt! |

I thought it was brilliant in how she won. At least my three favourites got to the top. Ade - great performer, Kim - great singer and Edith - lovely voice, great choice of songs. If it all comes down to it I think that the show was entertaining, nerve racking up until the end when the votes where announced every show and at the end of the da, its for charity! I got £50 worth of credit for my phone and spent every last one of it on voting (except for the occasional txt, three in all).
I hope we see a CD soon with the pest performances of the show and enhanced video of some of the most entertaining performances (I've Got you Babe and Can't Take My Eyes Off You) and it would raise alot of cash for Comic Relief. Cubby14 |

I've been away, so a belated woo-hoo!
Edith was a worthy winner and Kim a worthy runner-up. I preferred Edith's voice, style, and diversity - she has been a real revelation - but I have really enjoyed listening to both girls. Ade too has greatly contributed to my enjoyment of this series. Most importantly, while entertaining us for free, all the contestants raised lots of money to help people in great need, so I'm not going to slag them off.
