I can understand them doing this for sport but since its been said before no one other than DTC knows who did it. Even the actors don't know which one of them it is. Can't believe the public actually fell for it, believing it was jay. Won't be ben either. Why would he for a start. Im still thinking it will end up being max when she hit her head the car lot. Developed some kind of blood clot since thats the only wound she had when she was found. Or maybe it'll turn out to be rainie.

If the company believes that someone has insider information they would be committing financial suicide by carrying on taking bets on what is a foregone conclusion .The other bookies are stil ltaking bets on it though so either Ladbrokes has insider info or someone has panicked after a few heafty bets have been put on in the space of a short time”

thank you very helpful

It's not Jay, I personally think he was seeing Ben that night he got the same bus as Lucy.

I do think though that maybe Jay knows Ben killed her?!

100% certain it won't be Jay. May as well flush your money down the toilet as stick a bet on him. He is just the latest red herring. It was Billy's turn the other week and now it's his.

Can't see it being Ben either. I did read they were going for a new direction with the character when he returns so I don't think they would have him murder again straight away and inevitably end up back inside.

What I do think could have happened.....Lucy saw Jay with Ben and Ben has begged Lucy not to tell anyone that she's seen him or something like that and they've had a row. Jay will then suspect Ben has done it and is bricking himself that he'll be an accessory again, which would explain why he got rid of the hat and didn't come forward about being the lad on the bus.

Maybe Jay or Ben snatched her phone and it was them burying it in the allotment.

Either way, I'm sticking with my Ronnie theory.

I dont think its Jay either or Ben or Ronnie

I cant remember what thread its on but someone mentioned it could be Max - unintentional of course, he pushed her and she knocked her head in the cabin of the car lot - slow forming blood clot that she wasnt aware off, keeled over in the woods, died - I would buy that theory - sounds plausible, goes along with what DTC is saying that the killer might not know they were responsible for her death

Had a hunch about Ronnie from the off.

A quote from the producer from ages ago stuck in my mind. He said something to the fact that Ronnie would cause misery for one family on the square and this was before it was even announced that Lucy was going to die.

Thought she was very conspicuous in her absence in the weeks after Lucy's death. It's like she was deliberately kept out of sight and out of the viewers minds, and right now it's the same as she's gone away for a while again.

I think it would be a huge anti-climax if it turned up that the fall in Max's office killed her. I'm sure it'll come out some time and Max will have his turn in the frame before the real killer is revealed. Whoever it is, I'm sure it'll be an outsider that doesn't appear to have a motive at present.

My OH thinks it could be Lauren because we still don't know who sent Lucy/Max photos of them kissing. I don't know who done it but we've got to wait until February. I hope it's worth the wait!!

Maybe Janine is involved? When she left DTC said it wasn't the last we would see of Janine, in an interview. I doubt it but I am clutching at straws here! I'm not convinced it will be one person, I have that feeling that it will be a culmination of things. DTC said 'what' killed Lucy not 'who'. I wonder if that was on purpose..

I can't understand why Eastenders advertised the trailer "There is a killer amongst them". If it turned out to be that Lucy wasn't killed but in fact the injury to her head caused her death, me for one would be annoyed. Some people have been saying Ben but I doubt it. You have a good point, Janine has motive!!

Ah yeah, that's a good point. It's like a big puzzle and we have all these pieces but just can't figure out how to fit them together! I have been wondering about Janine, no one would think of her, she has motive and DTC did say we haven't seen the last of her. But then that could be to do with Stacey rather than Lucy, I guess.

So do I! Her blood was in his flat! And didn't he give Honey Lucy's laptop to take to Canada?

For some reason as soon as I read 'Lucy' I thought of Mellisa. It just shows how the character is always faced by one actor no matter how many play them.

It's like a jigsaw puzzle but you have a good point, nobody would think about Janine. I think over the next few months, they will give us clues but I hope it's worth the wait. Apparantly, "Walford will change forever".

I hope some people on here don't really think Eastenders is actually is real? You do know this is not real?
