I disagree, UTV Ireland are likely to use the ITV programmes properly, something TV3 didn't seem to be capable of. Daytime I would assume UTV will do as well as TV3 now (which has awful figures for almost all it's Home produced programmes) Obviously RTE 1 will come out on top but I would assume UTV will be in the second position with Daytime shows by the end of 2015.
Nighttime wise we can assume that the likes of C. Street and Emmerdale will hold almost all their viewers from TV3 and you can add on the 50 or 60 thousand that still watch on UTV, so they'll probably have a 15 to 20 percent increase in viewership by the end of 2015 (audience not being divided up between two stations)
This will benefit TV3 as well in certain cases, Downton Abbey could double it's viewership on TV3 next autumn if they are still on air at that stage.
