I'm sensing an ulterior motive here. Get to the back of t'queue.

But yes, April is the most gorgeous and natural soap child I've ever seen.

She really is adorable - so pretty and good with her lines - so good she doesn't seem To be acting at all. She really shows Arthur up who is also sweet but so stilted.

Best actress in soap. I heard she's also a true method actor, she gets into character for her many alter egos by shadowing astronauts at the ISS for her spaceman costume, and spending entire weekends drunk out of her mind watching John Wayne movies in preparation for the big stetson hat and spurs scenes.

She was spot on with her facial expressions tonight. Marlon could learn a lot from her! A fantastic little actress.

I heard from Soap Squawk she just spent 20 minutes with Bill Ward to get part down.

I think it's great that she had a Yorkshire accent despite only previously living in Essex

She has had more lines, than most of the child actors, in the other soaps put together

I know! When she kept on trying to follow him until he shouted at her to go away. My heart was breaking for her.

Talking of soap children, what on earth has happened to Bob's twins? Where are they?

They were out clubbing in Hotten.

Seriously, they'll probably show up at Donna's funeral.

It was incredibly sad. The actor playing Ross must have hated having to shout at her.

Well yes that is a thing but Donna still had her Yorkshire accent and at that age, where she will have been spending so much time with Donna (she'll only have started school a couple of terms ago) it's not inconceivable she'd copy her Mum's voice and accent more than other people around her like child minders.

A bigger thing genetically is that she has blue eyes and both Donna and Marlon's eyes are very brown but i'd rather have a good, cute little actress in the role with the 'wrong' accent and eye colour than a less talented, stage school brattish type who has brown eyes and an Essex accent.

It isnt unusual for brown eyed parents to have blue eyed children.

Brown eyes tend to be the dominant gene so whilst it's not impossible for brown eyed parents to have a blue eyed child but it is quite unusual.

Not really. My sister and her boyfriend have brown eyes but their little boy has blue eyes. But two blue eyed people can't produce a brown eyed child.

It all depends on the gene formation in the brown eyed parents - if they had one blue eyed and one brown eyed parent they will have both genes there to be picked up the next generation down (I think it becomes a one in four chance) but if both their parents were brown eyed the odds are slashed drastically. So, whilst possible it is much more likely for them to produce a brown eyed baby than one with a different colour eyes.

However, now i've been thinking about this, i'm pretty sure Vic Windsor had blue eyes so whilst Viv's dominant brown obviously came through for Donna, the blue gene will be there in her DNA and must have manifested with April. And of course we've never seen Marlon's parents though the Dingles tend to be dark eyed. Charity is the only blue eyed one I can think of.
