She's absolutely adorable, bless her little cotton socks.

That kid of Kelly's that Jimmy and Nicola were looking after was a as cute as a button too, a really lovely kid.

Like Rhumble, I normally despise soap kids as well.

Agreed. Her and Janet in Eastenders are both adorable and great little actresses

She's a lovely little thing and very talented. Mr tickle could take lessons from her

Totally adorable. The kid manages to break my heart everytime she asks for her mummy, I hate it. Hope she runs off with Ross, they'd make a great team.

Oh, and that time she was playing imaginary with her rocket, so sweet.

I normally don't like soap kids cos their so brattish, bad behaved and bad mannered (Corrie's Faye, Amy and Beelzebub Barlow, and ED's Gabby and Amelia), but April is very cute and a great little actor. Incredibly pretty little thing too.

Let's hope she doesn't get affected by it or have them start writing her as a brat as she gets older. Believe it or not, simon Barlow was quite sweet when he first arrived aged 4 or 5. He was never as cute as April though.

The other recent soap kid i've liked was Kamil in EastEnders - he was a little diamond.

She is positively gorgeous. What an actress too, she knocks spots of some of the kids in soaps.
I'm sad that Donna has gone, I thought the two together were amazing, such a chemistry.
As for chemistry with Marlon, no chance.
I was pretty disgusted the other night with the scenes with Marlon telling little April about her mummy dying. Far too much for a child of her age to be around such a story line. It must have been far too confusing and upsetting for her. Shocking just for viewing figures

She's a bit selfish, must get it from her scumbag mother.

April is by far the best child actor on our screens. But I wish they wouldn't continually dress her up as a pantomime character. Could it be a future storyline that Marlon is not her father, that Donna only told him that to secure a future home for April?

Lovely, sweet little one, sadly now stuck with the horrible Maurel, poor little thing.

She really is adorable and not a bad little actress with those blue blue eyes. Why did muppet Ross turn up and shove a backpack full of cash at her? Telling her 'not to tell anyone' - doh - was she supposed to march down the Bank and open an account or stuff it in her piggybank?

I really hope not, I don't think Donna is that cruel

I love her, she's adorable! Eden might get the BSA this year, but I'm sure it won't be long before Amelia has one of her own

A bigger thing genetically is that she has blue eyes and both Donna and Marlon's eyes are very brown but i'd rather have a good, cute little actress in the role with the 'wrong' accent and eye colour than a less talented, stage school brattish type who has brown eyes and an Essex accent.”

Yes I thought that as soon as she appeared in Emmerdale.
She is a lovely little actress for someone so young. I want to give her a cuddle she is so cute!
In real life where one parent has brown eyes and one parent has blue eyes it is usually the case that their children would have brown eyes because children will always inherit the brown eyes and not blue.
My mother had lovely blue eyes and my dad brown eyes but myself and my two sisters all had brown eyes. I would have loved to have had blue eyes.

Marlon could always have a DNA test to make certain that she is his.

Just wanted to post again how wonderful little April is.I adore her and have never liked soap kids before except for Kofi in Eastenders many years ago,he was the son of Clyde,he was so funny.I remember a scene where Clyde said something along the lines of "come on Jules" and little Kofi uttered "youre not Jules!" lol

Yes that is more than possible - *obviously as you have living proof! Brown is the dominant gene but it is still more than possible but lower odds for the child of a brown and blue eyed parents to have blue eyes. What is much more unusual (though still possible depending on grandparents) is for the child of two brown eyed parents to have blue eyes as is the case here.

In my case, my father has very brown eyes, my mother bluey/grey. My maternal grandparents both had blue eyes. I have brown eyes and my brother has hazel.
