does anyone else think fatboy could be a decent charcter, i used to find him quite funny a few years ago but then they changed his character completely into... i cant even explain what they made him all the old peoples best friend for some crazy reason, so did anyone else find him quite amusing at one point.

Didn't he show a bit of an obsession about Lucy?

No. Not unless he's taken out of EastEnders and inserted into a cartoon where he belongs.

I've always had a soft spot for him and I love his relationship with Dot. I think she's going to need him when she finds out about Charlie.
Oh, and I also liked him with Denise. |

A very Hammy actor and terrible character with no real connection to the square.

Fatboy is crying out for a decent story. I do feel DTC values his character though, when Ricky Norwood was serving his suspension Fatboy's absense was at least acknowledged,no one has mentioned at all where Dexter is

He has a lot of potential - he just needs a decent storyline to prove how good he could be.

He has turned into Gus. They cannot be arsed to do anything with him, but don't seem to want to axe him.
I think the character could be good if they broke him away from Dot and Alfie. Put him in shared housing with Lauren and Dean, put the focus on his dj doodah and explore more about his family history |

I think if it wasn't for June he would have gone by now.

Is this week the first time we've seen him in a long time?

I get the impression that he is just there to make up the numbers of ethnic minority characters on the square. If he was white they would probably have axed him by now.
He could be better used. He has potential to be an interesting character but they have not developed him at all. |

![]() He's decent enough in serious scenes/storylines. They need to tone down the idiotic mannerisms and "Innit Bruvs" though |

Should have axed him ages ago, I though he was ok at one point though.

He is a decent character whenever he's around Dot, and I don't think he's that bad an actor when he's playing "Arthur" it's just when he's in "Fatboy" mode that he's annoying. If they had him mature then there's potential still there, maybe if Dexter's gone permanently he could take his place in the Nancy storyline. Him and Nancy could work imo.

It's annoying that Nancy is the most underused Carter. She deserves better. |

I like Fatboy, I think he needs a proper story though.
