Blackburn has said there will be a stunt at New Year that will involve about a dozen characters and be a tragedy.

Predictions on what and who will be involved?

Hopefully a real mix of characters, including characters who aren't normally given the screen time they deserve - Eva, Sally, Tim, Maria, Audrey, Steph, Luke etc.

I'm wondering if it'll be the end to the who Nick/Leanne thing with maybe Nick setting fire to the Bistro?

Probably the usual overhyped rubbish - somone's life is in the balance in Weathy General before making another remarkable recovery - yawn.

I reckon one of the businesses catch fire and there's an explosion.
The bistro, or the gym?

Does anyone know if it's connected to what Stuart Blackburn said back in May

"With us, we're doing it in chapters - it was the affair, then it's Tina's death and the aftermath of that - and going into January next year, chapter three's going to be blistering - people are going to want revenge!" http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s3...-is-risky.html ?

Was there ever such a ridiculous overnight change of character? from being a dirty, thieving, abusive liar one day, to all twin set and pearls and Women's Institute the next. St. Muddie of Assisi is the worst mis-casting since Coronation Street began, but the producer is determined not to be proved wrong, so we get her pushed into nearly every episode, with the equally talentless Sophie. If there is to be a New Year's blockbuster, we can be sure that St. Muddie will be in there.

If there is another "disaster", I wouldn't be surprised if Maddie is made to be a heroine.

Could it be the start of the storyline for the odious Sean? Anything that gives him more airtime is a tragedy.

I can't think of anyone who'd want revenge for Tina's death. Don't think her wet as lettuce mother will be back and Curly is too young to do any real damage (). Unless Tracey wants revenge for her ruined wedding and future when Rob is revealed to be the killer...

Can you imagine if that is what Blackburn's planning, though?

The Tina McIntyre Show continues...
Since she left there's been "who killed Tina?" "did you kill Tina?" "you killed Tina" "she killed Tina" "he killed Tina" "I didn't kill Tina" "poor Tina" "you are charged with the murder of Tina" "Tina didn't deserve to die" "poor Simon, Tina was his best mate" "everyone loved Tina", and next month there will be plenty of focus on her, Tina that is, before and after Peter's trial...
Don't say we've got "revenge for Tina" next year, too!

On a serious note, I can definitely see Tracy looking for someone to blame when Rob goes and I suspect that there could be a clue in the photos of them filming the wedding. Tracy is no stranger to revenge so that makes more sense to me. I still don't know if it's got anything to do with the stunt, though. SB said something about that being part of a 'relatively' long running storyline.

Rita might want revenge. She treated Tina like a daughter and was very upset by her death.

He's getting a big gay sl that has apparently NEVER been done before, which actually means the opposite. Yawn..... Oh look there's Emmerdale. Phew!

I for one hope for more scenes with her.

Also I notice Sophie's tendency to screech and whine seems to have been toned down.

And as they stopped paying Michelle Keegan a while ago it's not costing anything

It's probably got something to do with Tina I can't think of anyone who would be that desperate for revenge once Rob gets put away, apart from maybe Carla and even then she wouldn't go to those extremes.

Or it could be something to do with Nick, Kal and Leanne.

You forgot Steph, who is suffering from post traumatic stress as she had known Tina for 3 weeks.

Oops. Silly me for forgetting heartbroken Steph "I knew Tina for 0.0000001% of my life" Britton.

I'm probably wrong but I'm sticking with the theory that Tracy will end up blaming Carla for everything and she will be the one who wants revenge. Tracy is the only vengeful character involved in the story (imo).

No idea what the stunt will be or who will be involved but Blackburn has said that's it's a "complete tragedy involving lots of characters". Personally, I hope it's not another fire.
