What was the point of bringing Shabnam into it? She's been back in Eastenders a while now and has not done anything other than be bitchy and earwig in on other people's private conversations.
I find this really funny about her and love the kind of personality they've given her, but just found it strange that she hasn't actually been given anything other than basically being a bitchy extra.

I'm sure there was supposed to be some secret about her time in Pakistan, but that seems to have been sidelined (unless I missed that episode?) and, no, don't get rid of Tamwar; love his quirkiness

I think Shabnam coming back has given some life to the family. It's a nice unit and it would be fabulous to have Queen Zainab back to head it again...

Shabnam has been back since early January just after the Carter family arrived. Look at all the screen time and story lines they have had in comparison to Shabnam. It's about time the Masoods were used more, they haven't been the same since Zainab left.

such a shame they didn't explore drunk, gambling Masood more, that could have been a cracking SL for the family

It wouldn't surprise me if the powers that be have finally recognised what a poor actress she actually is.

This is a shame because the character certainly has potential but she struggles with the most simple dialogue, regularly fluffing her lines.

I really don't think she's capable of delivering when it comes to a more complex or demanding script so it looks like she will remain pretty much a background figure.

Well she did phone for an ambulance when Patrick had a stroke on the ground, so she's not too bitchy!

Seriously though, I think her time will come soon!

Pointless and awful coneback. In her first stint she was sweet and sexy and enjoyed clubbing and drinking like a normal teenage girl.

Taking her down the devout muslim route and sticking her working in a corner shop, even though she is supposed to be highly educated. How cliche for an asian character.

They need to sex her up a bit. She's very cute.
