it's a whilstle designed for a dog to hear up to a mile away while herding sheep in all weathers, so I don't think it liked it that much. But I had to do something, an incessantly barking dog drives you round the bend, and these are NOT the sort of people you knock on the door and politely ask that they keep it quiet, more likely you'd get beaten up for your request

They sure are, if I ever win the lottery ( not likely as I never try it) I'm buying a house with nobody else near it for miles. You only need one inconsiderate sod who doesn't give a damn for anything to make things miserable and hellish for everyone else. Nasty noisy neighbours should be clumped together and exiled to a far away island away from everyone. If they like a hellish existence, let them be with their own kind and leave everyone else in peace.

It was a red button, post watershed special during the time he was homeless. It happened right before they poured beer over his head as he prayed.

And all this after the Sally episode which Kwynne was actually referring to I see now i've found the original post!

No Sally definitely drugged him and had sex with him against his will which I believe is the very definition of rape, just because no one actually used that word doesn't mean it wasn't.

I agree, I remember it as well. I'd just missed a page originally and responded to JOP's quoting you and I thought it was referring to his downfall after he hit Sandy.

Moira's blaming herself for Adam's actions but whilst that might just about wash since he found out James was his biological father, what about everything else before that? Going to work for Declan, sleeping with Mia behind Scarlett's back and then Ella behind Mias? Trying to kill Cain by means of arson? DUI and leaving a woman injured in the middle of the road? Adam is a grown man and made all those decisions (not all illegal but all hurtful and ammoral) by himself and as you say, he will never learn.

Ironically, I don't actually see that he and Aaron are responsible for Donna's death. Ross got them involved with Gary, although Adam did take his eye off the ball Donna And Ross got out and made it to the rendezvous with Gary with the photos and money so everything from that point on would have turned out just the same. And Donna was also an adult that made her own decision. Ross can blame Adam and Aaron for him taking a beating from baldie due to their failed look out but not Donna's death.

It was quite good except that it took so long for everybody to realise she was unhinged and there wasn't any real follow up to her having raped Ashley - because Kwynne is right - she did rape him.

Basically she was an old flame of Ashley's who turned up with her husband and was obsessed with getting Ashley back but nobody could see it except suspicious Laurel. Finally she went nuts and drugged and slept with (raped) Ashley and ended up sectioned I think.
