I think this should have been called "The Crying Episode" Blessing, Dennis, Sandy, Freddie, Perri all going for the tears.

Loved Sandy, it was very realistic that a Mum would go mad finding out both her sons were casually planning a murder and Gillian is a great actress, no wonder she left though she's been so under-used and I would have liked to see more of her. Oh well.

Going to watch this at 8, sounds like a good episode. Maxine returning as Maxine instead of Patrick's puppet will be lovely to watch!

They clearly have Coronation Street writers working for them then.

Too much Roscoe's as usual, and the 'coinfession' plot is eyewash of the worst kind, but Sienna on her latest bonkers escapade and the return of Maxine made it watchable.

Right, am I the only one that things Sienna wanting to bump uglies with her TWIN brother is just taking it too far? I know that this is actually something that sometimes happens when family members who haven't grown up together meet again as adults but its just a bit much for her character after everything that's already happened. Anyway, isn't it supposed to happen initially not after a year and a half or whatever.

I feel sorry for Sandy, she's a decent person. She's brought up all those boys on her own and gave them a good home and all that but they're a right bunch of rotters.

I'm disappointed Cameron had a role in the Sam thing but at least it looks like he feels bad about it. I actually quite like his character, especially when he has scenes with Peri. I hope it doesn't transpire he was the one driving the van too but then if he feels bad about the letter maybe he wouldn't have an actual double murder in him. It would be better if it was just a random hit and run than have another character be a secret murderer.

Listening to his fake accent today made me miss Joel. I think it would be good if he came back since Theresa is coming back too. Andrew Still is a terrific actor.”

What makes you think Cameron's accent is fake? It sounds authentic to me. I do agree with you about Joel/Andrew Still. I thought he was great. Not so Theresa, however.

This episode was terrible. Anything to do with Roscoes is terrible but this just takes the cake. Please, someone, mercy kill Freddie. You will be national hero for it.

How comes Maxine returned from America so quickly? She was only gone a couple of weeks. That's not enough to get over being abused.

Why is Freddie still on my screen?

I'm not quite getting the twincest part yet, which is good. Also, it seems in keeping with Sienna's character, as she started out obsessively close to her father and is now transferring affections to her brother. Keep it in the family, Sienna!

For one i've heard the actor speak in real life and he has an english accent - apparently he was born in Scotland but moved to England as a child. For another, i'm scottish and I can hear some words are coming out a bit oddly. It does sound authentic enough, its a really good accent but as I say just here and there it isn't quite right. 99% there though.

Perhaps in real life he sounds scottish to english people, like my Aunt, she moved to Manchester years ago and sounds completely like a manc to me, but in Manchester people still think she's a scot.

I'm disappointed Maxine has returned so quickly. I love Maxine , but after what's happened she should've been away for much longer . She was so scared when she left Hollyoaks , now she's back and looks beautiful , but is she really over Patrick now, strong enough to live her life without fear of him?
Unless , they will make a storyline about Maxine standing up to Patrick , rather then running away from him. Oh, wishful thinking ...

I'm Scottish too. Cameron has been in prison for 14 years and was at school in England before then, so it would not be surprising if his East Coast Scottish accent was tempered a little.

Probably will either send her off traveling or lock her up like Will.

Well yeah, that doesn't make sense to me. Really he should have lost his accent by now just like the actor did - and my Aunt did.

I'm from the east coast, and although obviously we still have a variety of accents, it still seems like he's saying things just slightly not right to me sometimes. Although I have to say, I didn't pick up on anything in the last few episodes. It was really at the start when he was shouting all his lines at Sam so no wonder it slipped here and there.

Apparently children grow up with the accent they go to school with, so Cameron should not have a Scottish accent. What's more, after 14 years in an English prison he would not have a Scottish lilt. However, it does not bother me. I think he rather suits it...

Some people do retain their accents though, but most people pick up the ways of wherever they move to eventually. Some people end up with right weird accents from moving around a lot.

For Cameron, I think its very unlikely he'd still have his accent after 14 years imprisoned in another country. Still Hollyoaks logic.

I've just been wondering if I think some of his words come out slightly oddly because I don't know how I sound. I don't ever really hear my accent on the tele.

Anyway, I like the character. To use a colloqualism he'd understand; he's awfy braw.

My brother has lived in the USA longer than he lived in Scotland. He still has a Scottish accent, although it's necessarily been modified a bit, as you have to adapt a bit to make yourself understood. On the other hand, my sister's friend once spent six weeks in the USA and came back talking American. Some people are more inclined to pick up/lose an accent than others.

ETA - I like Cameron too and yes, he is braw.
