The best part of that was a conformation of no Kev and Sally getting back together and Tim stuff.
Everything sounds bad.
Worst part Sean stuff

Steve's storyline sounds brilliant. I'm also happy that we will find out about what happened in London with Todd.

It also sounds as though Sean is going to fall in love with someone who either isn't single, or perhaps is in a heterosexual relationship?

So we are finally going to meet Izzy and Katy's mother. That should be interesting. I'm very pleased that there are no plans to split up Sally and Tim, they're the best couple on the Street right now!

Looks like Corrie will remain poor for the foreseeable. ITV really need to consider the future of Corrie because SB has the potential to kill the soap stone dead, and damage the audience trust beyond repair.

Storylines might sound good on paper, but with poor writing and producing presently at Corrie I don't think anything is going to be quality drama. Nothing seems to be thought through properly.

Slightly worried about Nick's "new lust". Let's hope he's not going to get to third base with Gail.

Todd's London experience could be interesting.

Good to see he acknowledges Tim and Sally.

Do you think the ratings will improve for the winter? It sounds like there's A LOT coming up, but none of it sounds that interesting other than the stunt, and the October stuff (even though the peter storyline is beyond pathetic now)!

The ratings are down over a million year on year, they're woeful!!!

Giving characters a story that just happens to result in their exit is a bit of a lame excuse.

Soaps haven't got this far by willy nilly dropping in exits when you feel like it.

"That's going to be a massive story. It's going to run through the autumn and build up from there. On Christmas Day and beyond, we'll see a real challenge to Steve and Michelle's relationship. I absolutely know that Simon Gregson and Kym Marsh are very good actors.

What an odd final sentence. It's as if he is trying to convince himself.

Well, Blackburn has pretty much confirmed that neither he nor the writers knew what to do with Dennis Tanner. But I am surprised to hear him say that the door is well and truly open for him to return anytime if someone comes up with a decent story.

Best start hiring some decent writers, then, eh?

Best news Sally and Tim stay together, and that we also get to see a serious side to Tim (is that apart from his daughter being pregnant, though).

The Why news. Sean. Why? why? why? Has he threatened to disclose something unless he is given some sort of / any sort of, storyline. Can't him and Todd clear off to London or somewhere even further?

I'm glad too, that Nicks' brain damage storyline is going to be carried for a long time, and not miraculously clear up.

Sorry, I can't see Corrie going back into second place of my favourite soaps anytime soon.

Sounds Dull!!

I am really hoping Sean's new romance is NOT with Zeedan, as was looking forward too that character a lot...don't want him ruined before He has even appeared.

Glad about Kevin not splitting up Sally and Tim.

Not sure I like stuart's reasons for writing out Dennis and Katy. IF the writers can't think of places too take the characters then WHY the hell are they still employed?? Get a fresh bunch in every soo often with FRESH views and IDEAS!!!

The street's looking a sorry place this autumn ....

I'm interested in the Steve SL it's no wonder why Steve feels this way after being bullied by Misshell for months I hope they don't make it into a joke just to mock Steve more.

Nothing else really sounds that interesting especially not the Sean storyline.

I never even knew Steve was getting a depression storyline. I'm looking forward to the Cilla stuff, but not the rest really. I like Sally and Tim together, but let's face it, it's not going to be forever. I don't like the fragmented Websters.. I can't even think what the Sean one will be, if it's "never been done before"

Also, he's saying "storyline driven" like it's a good thing. I'd rather have character driven

I watched Corrie for the first ten minutes last night and it was utter garbage.

This guy has no idea what he is doing with the show.

They've turned Steve from a character with backbone to some bumbling idiot. As for Michelle.............

Yes this is a very good point.
