EE: Most EE characters come from an expansion of the Beale family

Eureka! I have realised that most characters and families in EE are basically expansions of the Beale family.
1) The Carters are linked to Kevin who was linked through Pat who was linked to the Beales.
2) The Butchers are linked to Frank who was linked to Pat who was linked to the Beales.
3) The Brannings are linked to the Jacksons who were an expansion of Pat's family who was linked to the Beales.
4) The Slaters are linked to Pat who was linked to the Beales.
5) The Hills were introduced back in the 1990s through Kathy and of course there's Ben Mitchell who came through Kathy
6) Through the Hills, you have the Raymonds which links to Courtney Mitchell

DTC should exploit this link and put the Beales centre stage again. He's done that already but he know needs to expand them. Steven Beale should be brought back with a new Ian-Steven storyline. Mel Owen's return should be considered. Martin Fowler should return with a big storyline. Vicki should return. Mark Jr. should join too. Lauren and Peter should obviously marry.

The Masoods are related to them through Christians marriage to Syed. The Mitchells are related to them through Ben.

The Cokers, Aleks, Donna, Fatboy, Tosh Patrick, Jay, Whitney, Emma and the Spraggans are the only ones not paert of the great big family tree.

True but the difference with the Masoods is that they weren't introduced through the Beales. Although, they are not family, I'd argue that Jay, Tosh, Whitney, the Spraggans and Fatboy are connected to the Beales. Jay was brought in as the grandson of Bert Atkinson. Bert was the best friend of Joe Macer who was brought in as the new husband of Pauline Fowler - a Beale (though the Joe/Pauline thing was a disgrace). Tosh was introduced through Tina as her girlifriend, a direct link to Shirley brought in through Kevin and his "kids" who were brought in through Pat who was brought in as an extension to the Beales. The Spraggans came through Terry who was brought in as a love interest for Bianca, again a Beale. Whitney came through Bianca so she's an extension of the Beales. Fatboy was E20 but arguably came through Zsa Zsa Carter an indirect expansion of the Beales. Everyone is an expansion of the Beales really.

Jay is part of the Mitchells as he was fostered by Billy, and Whitney the Butchers as she was taken on by Bianca after Nathan's death.

I'd argue that the Fowlers and Butchers are an extension of the Beales, but the rest are mainly linked through Pat. Just as well that Pat isn't blood related to the Slaters or things would get really confusing.

Really it's Pat as well as the Beales that everyone is linked to apart from a few

That just shows how much Pat was at the centre of the show!!
