Obvious what is going to happen.

Patrick goes into Care Home where Yvonne and Charlie work.

Charlie is seem by Ian or Denise cleaning and so Charlie's cover is blown.

Or Patrick sees them and has another secret he can't blab.

Evens I'd say, plus him being the one to find out that Charlie isn't a police officer (as Max now thinks he's in special ops.)

Predictable I agree.

Who thinks Patrick will discover another vital clue but won't be able to say anything apart from Ian's whereabouts or even find out the identity of the killer?

He could be the keeper of ALL secrets on the square

I do have to say i'm not entirely sure what Ian thinks he'll gain by putting Patrick in a care home as arguably he might regain his speach soomer if he is getting constant professional care and Denise will still be seeing him all the time so he will still be able to tell her as soon as he is able.

It'll be funny if at the point where Ian has a change of heart they unknowingly walk past the Cottons. Like that time with Masood and Jane.

If I were Patrick I'd be getting myself a keyboard or at very least some picture cards.

Patrick holds up cards with lady on then card with the moon and night time on then points at Ian

Even then I bet den would be none the wiser, would be a funny scene tho

Exactly. It's clearly been set up purely so that Charlie may be found out.

I thought Charlie working in a care home and Patrick needing one was just another example of how bloody awful EE is getting but I actually quite like your idea. Giving Patrick the stroke and then then all of the knowledge is actually quite clever
