Him and Stacey were awful together, actually Stacey was awful from the Live ep on wards, but particularly with Ryan.

First of all. Bradley didn't JUMP off the roof, he fell.

Secondly. Stacey grieved quite heavily for months for Bradley. Her connection grew with Ryan quicker because they shared a child. Stacey proved in her exit episode that she had doubts if they'd rushed their relationship or not as she suddenly didn't know if she loved Ryan well enough or not to take him on the run with her.

Disagree. They actually were good together & Stacey was fine after the live ep.

Ryan lost all credibility with me when he meekly allowed Philth to 'own' him.

Hardly the actions of a murderer and supposed 'hardman' - but then again this is EE and to TPTB Philth is nothing less than a living God that must be worshipped at all costs despite ruining the show's other male characters reputations as they kneel down to him in sheer adoration.

I really liked Ryan with Janeane but not with Stacey.

Ryan was okay but didn't really do much. I'd rather see some high profile characters come back next like Peggy, Grant or Martin.

He was so lush, I'd like to see him back but shame that Janine has left, they made a good couple Suppose they'll focus on his relationship with Lily

I was bored with the Whitney scenes so I didn't pay attention to her text. This is the first I've heard about Ryan. He was a terrible character who dragged down Stacey and Janine. He should have been killed off by Queen Janine when she had the chance so this return could not take place. A truly barrel scraping returnee. Why aren't any of the big characters returning this year? Stacey is the only one they've managed to rope back in unless you include Nick Cotton, Lesley Clarke and Sonia which I don't. The rest have been relatively minor ones.

I always thought Ryan had so much unused potential - he's a bad boy with a heart and tried to do good things sometimes. I'd like to see him back.

I hope not, Ryan was quite a bland character, built up to be a lot more than he was.

There obviously only getting Ryan back for Stacey because they couldn't get Matt Willis to come back in the end as Luke.

In today's episode - it was a split second on screen where we saw Whitney get a text from some called Simon Parker (I think) and it said something like "it's Ryan on a new phone". It's in the scene when Whitney's in the kitchen and Lee comes down from upstairs and asks if she's OK.

Didn't mind Ryan, wouldn't be on my own return list (which consists only of the name Chrissie) but at least he has strong connections still on the square.

It's interesting that they may not be pairing Stacey with Dean then - maybe they want Stacey to have stability - and that's either with Luke, as he was in a stable relationship with Stacey for a couple of years, or Ryan - Lily's father.

If this is the case, it makes me wonder what they have planned for Dean..

Like the idea of the first two couples. But I'd rather see Nancy with a black guy that treats her right, so she knows they aren't all like Dexter or Wayne. It would be a good opportunity for the show to represent a guy like that, perhaps a relative of the Foxes, hmm, Nancy Fox (love it). Whitney should become celibate and Lee should become a mini Max Branning (I was just imagining while watching the last episode that it would be epic if Lee telling Whitney that he wanted to be like married young like his parents was still just a ploy to get into her knickers) wouldn't that be fun to watch. Dgms on a Johnny and Ben. I hate when they sling the gays together. I like seeing a Johnny venture out into the world and I hope to see Ben do the same. Perhaps they become companions.

I was looking at Neil's twitter feed - he's been doing lots of things but has he been working? I couldn't really tell. If he hasn't, he may be purposely not tweeting about his work as it's a secret and he's back at EE

I hope it's the same person that played Ryan before if he comes back I have a feeling it could be recast !
