Is nick cotton returning in Fridays episode?

Would be a good cliffhanger for Nick to return tomorrow and a good surprise as it would be quicker than expected but i doubt it, i can't wait to see Dot's reaction when she finally see's Nick again it will be epic she will probably faint from shock after the infamous "Hello Ma".

I think tomorrows ep will end with Dot opening the door and Nick saying "Hello Ma"

I doubt it because there's still more stuff coming up first week of September with charlie dot and carol! I think it will be a bit rushed if it's tomorrow IMO, especially as it's only had about 3 weeks screen time anyway! I hope the story gets played out a little more first, as it's probably the only story that's been intriguing in this woeful summer we've had!

No he won't as Yvonne said. Nick doesn't know Charlie has been visiting Dot.

Wouldn't be surprised if tomo just ended on a shot of Nick spying on Dot/Charlie from afar and then we wont see him again for another few weeks.

Just how stupid is Charlie to think he could pull off this sham? Did he think Nick would never show up again? Why didn't he just introduce himself to Dot instead of going through all this nonsense of faking Nick's death and pretending to be a police officer?

I'm completely expecting this. Does anyone know if Altman has returned to filming yet?

It would have been great to have seen Nick in the final seconds of tonight's episode - maybe him looking on as Charlie and Yvonne are by the car

I think Nick will make an appearance on Friday but it won't be with Dot just yet

It wouldn't surprise me. The BBC voiceover gave me the impression his return was imminent, but I can't for the life of me remember how he phrased it.

It would give the show a good August boost, which it does kind of need!

I don't expect him to return yet.
