Go Gary!
I love him winding everyone up that he dislikes, making out that he's truly deaf.

Somebody posted on the main forum that what we were treated to on the live feed yesterday night was just the sort of important private conversation that Gary must be butting in to.
I think that was me!!

Gary on the HLs tonight cheered me up a bit after getting really annoyed at the James 'baby sitting' vid today...

Was it? Ha ha. It probably was.

Usually when Gary features on the HL show (when he hasn't got arseholes on his case) it usually puts me in a good mood and makes me happy.
It's amazing how he can remain positive and good humoured about things.
Really I think he's teaching other people lessons if they're prepared to learn.....Seriously.
In the house he has been seen as weak, or disabled, or the runt of the litter, but in reality I think he's strong. As he overcomes any shortcomings by being mentally strong and managing to take positives from everything. I really don't know how he does it because I doubt that I could. I wish that I could though.

I'm not joking when I say that there is something to learn from him. The other housemates don't appear to recognise his strengths because they are so self-obsessed that they completely underestimate him. They think that simply acting on crowd reactions is all they need, but they don't bother to truly think about why or how he gets a good reception. They just don't seem to look at Gary as a real person and put his apparent popularity down to things like the viewers like to see him winding them up, or the viewers just like to see friction. They don't truly try to see the merit of Gary Busey as an individual. They can't comprehend because they are so into their shallow narcissistic selves.

Not all of them are that bad, but you know who I mean by the worst culprits.
The very shallow narcissists see him as almost sub-human, the regard for him being that low. They have actually used dehumanising descriptions of him. Which I presume are the points where BB start to get concerned and have words with them in the diary room.
But yet Gary remains to be so strong mentally and doesn't let things get him down too much. He really does seem to see negatives as potential positives.
I'm not very good at doing that. I could do with being better at that than I currently am.

What a lovely post.I couldn't have put it better myself. You have summed Gary up perfectly.
I've been playing catch up with this series.I'm only up to about 4 or 5 days ago.The one where Gary was talking about his previous lifes as a Roman etc. When James pretended he was interested for a minute then just walked away, shaking his head.
I've lost count of the number of times Gary has been left on his own, after trying to have a conversation with other housemates. He says it doesn't bother him,but he's only human.Everyone gets hurt and questions themselves.
Gary is one of the best ever CBB housemates ever.Perhaps even the best.

some great posts in here. Couldn't top most of them so i won't try. I am really happy that Gary seems to be loved and understood in here though. He seems to be a really nice guy who is really trying to take on board so much stuff...most of which he probably doesn't need to be worried about. I think i could happily stay in the house with Gary and be more than happy to hear about his life.

I tend to find older people the most interesting. They have seen it all, done it all, heard it all.
I've said on here before,he's very like my Dad.You just have to take the time to listen. They might seem a bit slow, might repeat themselves a bit and go off course. But older folk like Gary are a mine of information and wisdom. The problem is,these people just don't know it yet.
They will though, when they 'get some time in'.

Good post....sums it up nicely .. They have taken the 'hes winding us up,that's why the public keep him in' approach it seems..although hard to tell with what we see,I don't think I've seen anyone ponder 'whats he like in the DR' or other such enquiries which are usually the norm.... Well he again cheerd me up last night after previously being peed off again at the LF which as you know was a re run of last week with Dee going off at him and spreading falsehoods....

Hes funny and wise in the DR...and was hilarious during noms.. I hope to see him corner and collar Dee more often...She's no match.. and he brings out her true colours.

Nice to see our man running rings round Dee tonight.I was cheering him on.
Look at all their little worried faces now the playing field has been levelled.

The best bit of the LIVE FEED tonight was Gary trying to sleep spreadeagled on his bed with pillows covering his ears (nearly as funny as his showering scene)- while the no-marks were massaging each others egos in the kitchen. Gary to Win (I've already voted 12 times for him).

It's zero hour.We must help Gary win this.We don't want to be complacent and think he's got it won and not bother voting. That would be the kiss of death.

Like the Scottish Referendum. It's going to be very close.
