According to reports i have heard this morning, the new series won't be as complicating & hard to follow as previous ones.

I heard that about 9 months ago.

I've really not found it hard to follow previously though, and I feel that if they make it too simple, people will complain about the show being dumbed down. I hope they just mean the story arc will be a bit simpler. I could see the show becoming quite boring for me if the stories are made too simple, not everything has to be linear or straightforward.

Well I've never found it hard to follow.

I predict only disaster if this thread goes down the current route.

Let's just hope that the new series is accessible to all, and leave it at that.
