I was just thinking what a hard name it is to spell

I have to think about it every time, and it never looks quite right. Thank goodness for those zig-zaggy red lines letting me know if I've got it wrong

It's impossibley hard to spell.

I normally use Deerj for short. It's simpler for my fragile mind

I think it is simple once you know it but to be fair it is not a very common name these days and if you were breaking it down as it is pronounced you could be forgiven for thinking the first syllable was spelt Dear and the the second syllable qas an I or Y like Kathy. After after all Kate and Katy are pronounced very differently and The ending of Katy sounds more like Deirfre than Kate does but which ends in a E?

l though people were spelling it wrong on purpose to be funny, you know like for example Dreary, or Diedre .

It's one of those names like Lloyd no one can spell it!
